Marlena 174
I'm certainly not trying to start a fight, but I'm interested at when people think we are likely to be able to resume cruise vacations?? ( and please everyone remember this is just peoples opinions or guesses....stay nice! Lol)
WAAAYTOOO 12,003
Purely a guess. I will go with 1 July 2020 SteveinSC, shaydav19, Okgladgal and 4 others 6

Ampurp85 1,190
I will guess Memorial day for "all travel" but as far as cruises I would too agree that the first week of June is looking good. April is not going to happen. Neesa, shaydav19 and SpeedNoodles 2

Crazycruiser50 72
Friend of ours that works on one of the ships said the entire staff was being sent home until August. That’s all he knew for now. CruzOnBye, Neesa and WAAAYTOOO

Ampurp85 1,190
@Crazycruiser50 This is possible but has no bearings on all of the cruises schedule. It could be they foresee the industry starting back in May or June and these particular workers contracts ended during this time ...thus they start back in August. I think COVID will need at least 60 days to run its course. Maybe another few weeks after to get things to a new normal. Fireman973 and RCIfan1912

Dan Curtis 180
Probably August, the start of Hurricane season, sure hoping sooner.
Neesa 919
06 June 2020 the first Saturday of the month. We are not cancelling our 28 June 2020 so if RCCL cancels we will take the 125% FCC and apply to the Thanksgiving sailing. Just saw DCL pushed final payments for their summer sailings back 30 days. I wonder if RCCL is considering this? My balance is due at the end of this month, I guess we will see. (Always pay balance last possible moment, nothing worse then the feeling of missing a price drop because you paid the balance early.) Lovetocruise2002 11,296
@Neesa I just saw that too about DCL. I hope Royal does the right thing this time and follows suit. Chadster, Snotarni and Neesa

Crazycruiser50 72
We just cruised with him the first week of March and are supposed to cruise again on that ship on May 2nd, so trust me I am not happy. Luckily we have an Oct and Nov cruise scheduled too, so hopefully we can roll a FCC over to one of those.
BunnyHutt 102
I’m going to say September. Signed, The wife of an airline pilot who is hopeful that the worst of this will be in the rear view mirror in 6 months. SpeedNoodles
Ampurp85 1,190
@Crazycruiser50 Well that sucks if that is the case. I cannot travel during the summer so my next cruise is in October. I highly doubt, if available, most cruise lines will not start as soon as they can. It could be ship and itinerary related as August is almost 6 months away....I cannot fathom that cruising would be able to survive that long without any sailings. I won't be delusional and say April but I also won't be pessimistic and say July either.
