smokeybandit
Limited capacity for sure. And a special shout out to how royal Caribbean took care of us as a covid close contact to get us home instead of having to follow bahamas quarantine rules. San Diego Garrett
The crew on the Navigator were so amazingly friendly and helpful. KristiZ and BrianB

SpeedNoodles
Always getting a seat at our favorite bar with our favorite bartender any time we wanted due to reduced capacity. Also, the ease of being successful in our Royal Up bid. BrianB, JimnKathy, WAAAYTOOO and 1 other
Tony C
Flowrider lines with 8 or less people--for the entire cruise . It was like paying for a private lesson all week long. I actually had to get out of line to take a break because my turn was coming up to quick. KristiZ
Cruising With JT
Finally visiting CocoCay after nearly 2 years of waiting was the best part! I was really happy and fortunate to go on 4 cruises in 2 months between August and October, and one of my favorite things about being back onboard was seeing all the smiles on the faces of crew members excited to see us back doing what we love, and vice versa. It had been a rough 15+ months for everyone and simply having the chance to go back out to sea and enjoy what we love most was truly the best part. And of course I love love loved the limited capacity, the amazing shows, the late night Sorrento's pizza and the drinks flowing nonstop. Cruising is back and I am so glad to be part of the comeback like everyone else! Here's to 2022! BrianB and KristiZ
CruizIan
After 2 cruises this year, September and November I would say it has to be the new reserving of check in times and how quickly the onboarding process is. From checking in on the app and uploading all of your necessary documents; it has not taken us more than 15/20 minutes from getting out of the car to being onboard. I Truly hope they just keep the check in times because not having to deal with the crush of people at 11 like before has been so enjoyable. whitsmom, KristiZ and BrianB
MTNeedsAVacay
Limited capacity and the attention to hygiene/testing/vaccine requirements - haven't felt much safer anywhere else with our 2 young kids. eMuster drill was an absolute game changer and probably the best thing to come of all of this. Only sailed once in 2021, but it was on the brand new Odyssey, which we got changed over to from a dirt cheap booking in a Jr Suite on the Independence, so that was also an awesome surprise that we loved! It was our first time sailing an inaugural season, and it was totally unplanned. BrianB and KristiZ
Valis
I'm planning to go on holiday with the kids. It is important to me that children will be safe, fun and interesting on a cruise. And it is also important that I myself was able to relax at the same time. Many people make the mistake of not taking the necessary things with them on their first cruise. Therefore, I would like my first cruise to be good. I believe in the meaning of various symbols that I read about on https://www.sunsigns.org/august-12-birthday-zodiac-leo-popular/ which helps me to choose the right place and time for vacation. Allancy
Trying RC for the first time. We would never have tried a ship with more than 1000 pax but Jewel using a home port less than an hours drive away coupled with severely reduced capacity were worth the risk. Glad we did as it has changed our perception of larger ships particularly with how RC operates. Went on again two months later with 4 times the capacity and still enjoyed everything. D Alt
Lower capacity - yes! Easy Muster drill - oh yeah! the most friendly and helpful crew (on Jewel)- loved it! But hopefully that is all ships and all year round not just 2021. KristiZ and BrianB
Funeegal
We cruised on Adventure over the summer! We LOVED the lower capacity and excitement of the crew welcoming us back to cruising. We got a cabana in the Thrill Waterpark at Cococay and the attendant was fantastic! His name is Henry. When we sailed again in November on the Symphony, we had him again for our cabana. It was amazing!!! KristiZ
steverk
Things I liked...Let me count the ways Limited capacity was wonderful The staff were so excited to be back on board and back to work I was on the first cruise back (on Celebrity) and we were welcomed with fire boats at the ports The hand washing stations at the Windjammer The double point promotion No lines for anything, especially the elevators Being able to find a chair at the pool on a sea day The only thing I didn't like was the lack of people in the shows meant much less energy in the room.
