I submitted via the online survey tool and got no response or confirmation back.  So the next day I submitted one via email and got a quick turnaround for my October trip. Credit is in my cruise planner a day later.

I think i'll do them this way from now on. Just one at a time when I get within a couple of months of trips. probably have to send an updated statement each time so they know i'm not selling shares.

I blacked out all numbers and other items on the statement and just left the RCL one there for them to see.

What email did you use? I just submitted a request and will see if I get a response.  My cruise was also booked through a TA and it said the TA would need to send a confirmation, so I'm not even sure I will get a response.

the email on the form [email protected]rccl.com

I don't get why a TA would need to be involved in this. You get the credits to your cruise planner and this is some private information that I would be hesitant in giving to a TA.  Just try it.

I just purchased some RCL stock today and emailed to [email protected]rccl.com for this Friday 7-8 Oasis trip.  Will see if I get them..  Wish me luck...

In my case, I couldn't wait for my next monthly statement so I got my brokerage (TD Ameritrade) to generate a letter confirming I had 100 shares.  I then sent that letter to [email protected]rccl.com along with my booking numbers, ships and dates.  In about 24 hours, the OBC was posted to all my future cruises.

I had a cruise planned for the end of may and in April I uploaded my March statement reflecting the shares.  The OBC was applied to my sailing (verified on the website) within 2 weeks.  Unfortunately I was unable to go on that cruise as I tested positive the day I was leaving the house for that cruise.  I cancelled that cruise that day as a result and booked a new cruise (same ship) the next day for three weeks later.  I then obtained my April statement (end of May timeframe) and uploaded to the site.  Again, they credited my account with the OBC within 2 weeks and I was a very happy sailor 🙂

So far no luck.  I haven't see my OBC credit in my account.  Maybe is too late, since I will be sailing tomorrow.  Or am I missing any other paper work?  I email the PDF form and one TD Ameritrade with my name and address and the other one with the Purchased approved of the RCL stock.  hmmm

Quick question. How far out are your cruises? It says to wait until 21 days before applying for credit but I figured you could apply earlier.

I understand that a comped cruise does not qualify for a RCCL stock owner benefit as per the rules, but what about if you upgrade the comped interior to a balcony, will the benefit kick in then?

You can try. But when I tried it 3 months ago, they rejected my request for an OBC.

I think that you might be able use a "snipping" tool the do a screen shot of your online statement if you just bought the shares and don't have a monthly statement.  It is a standard tool/app on any windows PC/laptop.  I assume that Apple will have something similar.

If you just bought the shares, you could probably send a copy of the trade confirmation.

Hi all! I'm new to this board and am enjoying reading through threads and learning about how to maximize my cruising experience with RC. I was completely unaware of the shareholder benefit but recently bought shares when the price was down (hooray for the positive earnings call). Thank you all for your advice here--I emailed my form and a copy of the trade confirmation for a 9/29 cruise last night at midnight and got the credit at 2 p.m. today. I couldn't believe the quick turnaround! I was also pleasantly surprised they allowed it, as I applied a casino discount to this cruise in addition to the ongoing promotions like the FCC kicker.

I have had no issues thus far receiving the shareholder OBC through the online form.

For my June cruise, I submitted my trade confirmation.

For my upcoming cruises, I submitted my June brokerage statement. I downloaded the relevant page of my brokerage statement as a pdf, then used the “redact” tool in preview to black out any information they did not need and saved the updated pdf. They need to see your name, the date/statement period, the stock obviously, and the number of shares you own. I filled out the shareholder benefit online form just shy of three weeks out from my next cruise. You can submit multiple cruises for OBC at the same time on the online form. I got an email response with the OBC posted to my account for both of my upcoming cruises two days after submitting my request.

Make sure to have your booking ID’s and travel dates at hand before you start the form: https://rclshareholderbenefit.questionpro.com

Wait....really!  You received shareholder OBC for all your sailings...months in advance?  No...actually a year in advance?  What gives?  RCI info we have says submit 21 days out [about].  Hey great gig if you can get it!  Don't understand though since one could sell their stock at any time [much less a year out and Brandon is doing such a great job at it and all]?

We have no plans to sell of course since we are now deeply in the RED, LOL.  But would be nice to submit just once for sailings throughout the year.  I somehow am suspicious of this though [that RCI really does that].

We still haven't discerned what method succeeds in this...by email, on line submittal form, or written snail mail form?  We usually receive the benefit [not always though] and we usually submit several times using different methods [my wife and I each own 100+ shares in separate broker accounts so can submit separately, though just looking for the single benefit per stateroom of course].

Worked for me a few weeks ago.  I submitted the online form one time and noted 4 cruises.  The OBC showed up in my cruise planner about 3 days later for Aug. 2022, Dec. 2022, Feb. 2023 and June 2023.

Yep! And my 2023 cruise in Sept which was changed from Enchantment to Brilliance...they had first removed my OBC but then added it back in once it was set.  So not sure if i just lucked out or it's a glitch in my favor but I have all my OBC's set.

Here is more (current) positive data to use the Shareholder Onboard Credit Offer Request Form (PDF).

On Friday (8/26/22) I summitted 5 separate email requests for shareholder OBC at around 4PM EST.

On Sunday (8/28/22) I received 5 separate DONOTREPLY emails with PDF receipts for my OBC at around 2PM EST.

My cruise dates ranged from SEPT 11th 2022 through SEPT 14th 2023, so the time limit doesn't seem to apply.

The total OBC amounted to $650!  🥰

I was told a statement lasted for 3 months, before needing a new statement to book the OBC.  I had statement emailed and got the credits the next day for the cruises within 3 months.  Will do it again in a couple months for other cruises.
