aww sad times I caught up.  It was a delightful morning finding this live blogg this morning.

Can't remember who mentioned it but 2 of you(it was so many pages and coffee sips ago) that the Suite Lounge seating is very close to the dinning seating and that there was a nice suite lounge corner in the back left.  Can you take and post more pictures of this when you go to dinner tonight? @Lovetocruise2002

It was me who mentioned it. I will post more pics later in the week when it’s a port day. It’s too crowded in there right now during dinner hours.

Thanks @CGTLH

In general, I am not a fan of the SL/CK set up here on Icon. Much too close together for my comfort and liking. Last night, we requested to be seated upstairs with a waiter that we know from past sailings, it was a much better experience on the upper level. Tables are not as close together and you don’t have the distraction of the people in the SL, or people walking by (and actually touching) your table to try to plaster their face on the glass to see the activities in the Aquadome below.

Hey, I have two of those in black from Amazon that cost me $10 together. They are fabulous in the water. The other thing that I love about them is that you can either wear them around your middle or you can shorten up the straps as much as possible and use it as a bag! 😋

Hubby likes them for PDCC

Lunch at Aquadome Marketplace again.

Today we did the noodles and Mac n Cheese. Noodles were not impressive. They are not stir fried. They just put all the items in a bowl for you and off you go. WJ noodle station is better. At least that is stir fried while you wait. @Matt can vouch for me that I did say this. WJ for the win in this area. Mac N Cheese was ok. Nothing gourmet or anything but a good snack. Then we both went back to get Greek again. This time I got the rice base, I liked the pita better from yesterday.

Ok, I'm a HORRIBLE blogger.  But I'm in steerage, so no impressive pics.  I'll catch you up.  I met Rover.  It was windy. I look like crap. But Rover was soft and beautiful.

Last night was great fun, as we hung out with a bunch of Royal Caribbean Blog Insiders at the Dueling Piano Bar.  A raucous good time.

Sitting at the Schooner Bar having a Desert Pear Margarita 17065518847623419901372429447566.thumb.jpg.a06344061e5dc74109f90b199736d241.jpg

and thought,  "Hey! Does anyone want to know how no-touch the public restroom door are?" If that's you,  here it is! Just wave your hand and magical access. Seriously,  come to me for the mundane information.

Hubby is back at the FlowRider again. I venture back to the Aquadome to grab a crepe (btw, I have decided the crepe station is my favourite complimentary venue here on Icon). Then I headed over to Rye and Bean to try a Hibiscus Tea Punch. It is perfect for 3pm in the afternoon. We had a time change last night for St. Kitts tomorrow.

Going to have to return here to try the Big Bobbo. The bartender told me the espresso martini is getting great feedback too. I am not a huge fan of coffee or chocolate based martinis but good to know for anyone who is interested.

The FlowRider’s widow club is real. I did not really believe my friend when he first welcomed me to the club but I get it now 😂

Neither of us are good at it "yet hopefully", but my wife I think enjoyed trying as much as I did so she will probably be at the flowrider with me instead of in the widow club.  When it comes to the casino though, she is definitely part of the widow club.  I generally try to go late at night after she has gone to bed at least, I should get some credit for that.

I think there’s a very good chance I would be visiting the Aquadome frequently. We already know I go wherever the included food is but some of those drinks look voucher-worthy to me.

We’ve always enjoyed when the WJ has had a crepe station over the years.

Does this mean you've converted back to being a WJ person? 😂 at least for noodles?

I feel like such a dork wanting to be there hanging with people I’ve never met (you mods) but I do. Thanks to everyone posting. I know it can be a pain but I’m loving it.

I agree so much! I'm just sitting at my computer looking at Icon of the Sea prices... but that's all I'm doing - looking, I can't afford to sail on her... so I'll just live vicariously through this live blog and the mods

I tried one night one. It is promising and they even had Strawfish boba straws..but they need to soak the boba more..they shouldn't be that hard.

I keep taking advantage of The Grove while I can. If I wasn't freeloading my state employee's salary couldn't even afford steerage.

if you are interested I would definitely reach out to a TA and see what prices they have.  some of them might still have group rates available for some sailings at about half the cost of what the website shows.  Not a guarantee, but worth checking.

Yeah, thanks for the advice lol. I've checked with MEI Travel but they only deal with US prices - like all travel agents do (at least ones based in the US) and Danny from Harr Travel doesn't deal with Australian clients.. yet, I live in Australia, so if you convert USD back to AUD, it'd probably be about the same. I'll just wait till 2034... when the prices come down real low 😛😂

But on top of that... I'd have to fly to the US (which would cost even more for flights and hotels) but it's not like Icon is travelling to any port that I particularly want to visit, I don't care about PDCC..

Hello people, thanks for all the information and experiences you are sharing. 2 questions:

. How crowded are the pools? And how about water temperature.

. How is the temperature in different inside spaces? I usually get cold in the dining room and at shows in different cruises. Is it advisable to wear light jacket inside the ship? (This seems always so sad to me , such a waste of energy, hope in icon is better)

Thanks so much!!
