YES. this is my biggest call out. dollar for dollar, you get more on celebrity and in the retreat. their suites come automatically with premium drink package. how the heck are we paying former star class prices for sky class without drinks?????? i don’t even DRINK that much and i’m floored by this. amen

first off — CUP CLIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! in such a soothing ivory tone!!!!!! i was mega impressed. the number of margaritas really brought happy tears to my eyes. the dolphins!!!!!!!!!! i felt you were very brave for your cabin location, as true forward cabins scare the bejeezus out of me. too much motion. but the natural light is a total boon, AND i am glad you have discovered your truest happiest cabin category. there were MANY tasty food pics that were DELIGHTFUL. tbh you are the demon ship’s dream demographic. and it being ultra quantum class would probably just be the icing on the cake!!!!!! i actually loved our balcony on odyssey because we had this insanely long/spacious oversized one on deck 9, and the way the cabins were staggered on the ship made it so we really only had neighbors on one side. 15/10 would recommend AND the cabins are spacious with lots of storage for their size. i’ve decided you must go on odyssey. it will be a marvelous time!!!!

first off — i’m grateful for your honest review, sabrina. as always it was thoughtful and fair, and you have both the experience and ability to articulate your thoughts in a way that is level headed and objective. second — i’m sad that your cruise is over, and hope you have smooth travels home — and cannot WAIT until you are on symphony!! she is a classy lady we love her the most. and now…. a slight turn from yours truly, as i have a bit of a rant coming on. buckle up it’s borderline hysterical to me that instead of standardizing the royal suite class experience across the fleet — coastal kitchen, wifi, etc — royal’s answer on the non-quantum/oasis/icon class ships is to CHARGE for the royal genie package. like. how wild. i understand that it isn’t an apples to apples comparison; i even understand that from a cost and infrastructure standpoint — do these ships even have SPACE for a coastal kitchen??? — it’s probably completely infeasible. but can we just take a moment and think about how nuts this is???? and yes, this gives folks who are in non-suite cabins the ability to experience what having a genie is like, but also…. what in the actual HECK?? for what they are charging per person, per day, this should score you more than confusion over whether your gratuities and laundry are included on a sailing!!!!! not a, YMMV view. …okay. i’m done.

i would love to say the lack of honoring D/D+ and up vouchers has something to do with whatever they’ve promised the bahamian gov’t* — we stayed at baha mar for a work trip in march and the tax on tax on TAX for everything was W I L D — but knowing royal, it’s probably just another money grab. and listen, people are paying it, so i am not faulting them for it — just really fascinating the process this entire project has taken and continues to take. *are they exempt at cococay because they own the island? so they can skirt the issue?

puerto vallerta! our first time there but looking forward to it we did riviera maya two years ago and it was beautiful, my first land only vacation in years. best part was seeing cozumel from our beach and what ships were docked in the distance what about you guys?

like call me crazy, but i’d rather save the $50 for the open bar portion if the prices are that steep and use a voucher or two since i can never get through the 5 anyway

just curious if the unlimited drinks mean that your diamond vouchers…. wouldn’t work?

ITS CRUISE DAY!!!!!!! also how weird is that fridge in the half circle cabinet??? i must confess i am loving the accessible JS — excEPT. did they take your walk-in closet and replace it with the bunks????? so sad also having had the walk in shower and bathroom experience on the last MSC sailing, i will confess i wound up LOVING it!!!! so much space in the shower!!!!!! no banged elbows trying to aggressively wash my lions mane of hair so i was thrilled.
