Rackham
At this point, I'm halfway waiting for an apology for canceling the previous apology due to staff error with another $50 OBC included which would bring the final OBC total to where it was before it was reversed. Royal really needs to figure out what they're doing and fast. WIFosterMama, Cactus527, Vwjo and 2 others

RudyR
This is another instance Royal Caribbean lied. They already nickel and dime you for everything and now blamed the latest Premier Pass fiasco on a computer glitch. Computers does not make the glitches, human does. Those hidden premier pass tab was there for internal friends, but since it was discovered by others travelers, Royal Caribbean socked it to the customers by saying it was a glitch. What a bunch of crap for such a big company. Typical of the British influence and adding insult to injury my refund will take 30 days. . RoyalGreg
As long as we're refunded, I'll be satisfied. If we get some amount of OBC ($50 or otherwise), then it's even better. asquared17
update: back to a single $50 OBC on the first sailing and no OBC on the second. safe to say they’re still very obviously working thru this. Vwjo
Ampurp85
It seems it should have been $50 OBC per package and they did $100 and then took it back. So now they are trying to fix everything. Which as I was typing happened because I got the $50 OBC in all the instances of booking. Vwjo
WAAAYTOOO
The purchases made for these pkgs on 3 of my upcoming cruises are still there….IOW, nothing has been refunded yet. The pkg itself has been removed (the entire category is no longer there) but the purchases are still showing in my purchase history. No OBC yet that I can determine. The cruises where these bogus pkgs were purchased are Mariner (5-26-23) Adventure (12-22-33) Adventure (12-30-33) None of the other cruises I have booked offered the bogus pkg. teddy
I bought it for two cabins....one package for each cabin (two different reservation #s). Each reservation # now has $50 obc. The packages show up on my order history, but that will work itself out over time. The $177.98 still shows as "pending" on my credit card, so it's not really a charge against my limit. I'm pleased with the outcome. asquared17 and Vwjo
jbrinkm
I did not get the $100 yesterday as some did, but when I checked this morning, I had an additional $100 in credit on my account. I did buy two packages because we are a party of 4. So that $100 could just be the same error as people were reporting last night, or it could be a legitimate amount of OBC for 2 packages at $50 each... IDK My original purchase has not been cancelled or refunded yet. Just leaving it alone, not touching anything in there right now! We are cruising on April 2. Ampurp85
@WAAAYTOOO I had booked it for my Mariner 1/15/24 sailing and it is the only one without a credit yet. Yesterday it was $200, and the first to be rescinded. So, I beleive they are applying them to the earliest cruises first. Also, since I booked on Saturday, the amounts have been showing as pending, I don't care as they will be rectified. None of them have been cancelled but I won't do it myself, I will wait until Royal cancels them for me. WAAAYTOOO

Carolina Bred
Just a little info … I’ve been waiting on email to say my premier package has been cancelled , I emailed my TA and she said she got the email but it didn’t say who it applied to . It was me and she said that it was canceled and the full refund should show up in 14 days . Also they have given me 50$ in onboard credit and reason I’ve not seen it on my app or account, that takes awhile also for some people . Micheleyd
I had $100 OBC last night, that was removed. Now nothing is showing. I sail on May 14,2023. So how are they determining the order in which the OBC are reinstated?

I sail Celebrity quite a bit and have booked this kind of package with them. The Premier Pass was $279 per person for a 7N sailing and this was pre-pandemic. So when I heard they were offering it on Royal for much cheaper, I was skeptical at best. But I hope everyone is sufficiently compensated for this "glitch". Jill
So I’m showing $100 OBC and so are our friends who I told to buy it. When I bought it, I clicked my name and my husband’s name and was charged $177 something. I saw $88 for package but even at $88 a person it was a deal. We shall see! CanHardlyWait
Just to check coz I'm sooo lost at this point. If you just booked it once for 2 people, you should get a $50 obc right? Not $100= $50 each person? SweetPea

PPPJJ-GCVAB
I just checked yet again and now I have $100 OBC. The thing is, I had purchased 2 but then cancelled one of them after I read more posts saying we only needed to buy one for 2 people. Also the package I had kept is still showing booked but the one I cancelled shows refunded. Guess I’ll wait and see how this plays out. Snowchaser
Had the $100 which was removed and now have the $50 credit. Looks like from reading the small print that it can only be used in the cruise planner which kind of stinks cause we've already bought everything we need at a better discount then what is offered now. As @Ampurp85 noted it can be used onboard. I really hope that you can forgive us and understand that it was an honest mistake. We will though provide you with a $50 USD Onboard Credit, which can be used pre-cruise to book packages and experiences via My Royal Cruise or use it anywhere onboard. WIFosterMama
22 minutes ago, ScottD said: They got an invoice for the price of whatever they bought with a due date of 3\17 from what I've seen That is correct. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Royal just now and have a ticket into IT because of this. They noted it on my booking that I have tried to make a payment but there is some internal error coming up. However, one of the items I had used the errored $200 OBC against was cancelled while they were trying to figure out what is going on. So now I wait. Premier Package is still showing as booked online, and the RCCL agent even saw it as booked along with my three items that was booked using the errored $200 versus the $100 now sitting in the account. teddy
The charge on my cc went from pending to posted today. It’s not a big deal to me since I know it will be refunded.
