  1. I'd never get the family out of the room! lol... My wife and kid can sleep like rocks, I have that internal alarm so I'm up at the crack of dawn either way... but man would it be a battle for me to get them up and out without the old pulling the curtain back trick I use at every hotel!
  2. That window means the world... I originally booked Interior for my next one and my wife starting getting all weird about not getting any light from the outside, so we "upgraded" to an OV GTY... now she's just been anxious to find out where our room is, lol.
  3. Awww yeah... my favorite adventures... @Ampurp85, Mom and brother!
  4. The photos can be done later, and in fact, a lot of people don't even bother and just do them at the port since a lot of times they re-take them, anyway.
  5. We went last Feb AND last October- it was much warmer in October, comfortably warm, actually.
  6. Not sure WHAT kind it is, but here is video of 7388 WITH a hammock hanging on the balcony... https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/slideshow-cabin-members.php?ship=Voyager-of-the-Seas&cabin=7388
  7. Yep- both times at Coco cay last year we did about 2-3 hours on the island, then came back to enjoy an almost empty ship
  8. From comments and posts I've seen in other places regarding this, they can order from either menu. They charge by the age, but then either menu is available
  9. Oasis was like...OH NOT YOU DON'T... we are getting outta here first
  10. I swear Dancing drums hit non stop on Oasis in October. We hit a hand pay with a slot pull, I went back to the same machine and hit about $400 bucks in a few spins, and apparently someone hit a mega jackpot on the SAME machine 2 days later.
  11. Nah, I don't think the pool gets crazy for the first few hours- once everyone is on and they get to their rooms, THEN it starts to fill up, especially by Sailaway. But you should be fine getting some food with that lunch (The lunch is one of the main things that make the Key worth it- make sure you do that!) then hitting the pool.
  12. I bet we can charter a whole Margaritaville ship for real cheap...
  13. I think it's because that's actually a suggestion on the website- basically take a full ride around, then the 2nd time around jump off where you want to explore a little more. I don't think we'll do that, and hopefully can get on and off when we need to so we can ensure we see the few spots we want...then if time permits maybe we will do a loop.
  14. Still not working...people on FB reported changing password to get it to work, but I can't even do that. I can log in to the CP on my computer, but still getting the "hit a snag" message on the app. (android)
  15. Yes...it's down. Saw lots of Facebook posts about it, as well. Some said they reset the password and it worked, but I couldn't even get it to do that. I DID get in on the website after changing the password, though.
  16. The balance of credits will flash on the little screen at the game each time you swipe it.
  17. I mean...there IS a website for her... she's a real person. I do find it strange that both posts are almost the same, the other post mentions being brough to the ship in a limo, though. Important details, apparently.
  18. NOW I don't feel so bad about my September cruise! It's (not really) Matt Approved!
  19. I don't think they'll ever install nets. It's still a very small percentage of people going overboard. Yes, 1 is too many, but I don't think nets are the answer.
  20. It is a pretty large area along the port side, it starts right at the Lime and Coconut bar and goes to the entrance of the Solarium. So you can literally sit almost right across from the bar, plenty of tables as well. Circled it for you...
  21. Also, like Princess 360 dining experience... https://www.princess.com/en-us/ships-and-experience/onboard-experience/360-experience
  22. I'm guessing a staffing issue. Most of the staff used to run the operations on the island come from the ship- bartenders, servers....etc... so if they keep the island running all night, they would have a skeleton crew on the ship all night, and I don't see that working when Dinner times roll around.
  23. From the other posts, it sounds like people are having issues with buttons being pushed by accident when they get too close?
