I just saved $20 on an excursion but in true Royal fashion the percentage off was the same. Yesterday it was $214 with 30% and today it was $194 with 30% off. But another excursion went from being 30% and $84 to being 25% off and $95. The Royal math is crazy.

So annoying. Glad you got some additional savings.

Rebooked all our excursions, drink packages (and added one to our 14 Day Transatlantic), lunch speciality restruants (and added a few also). And... Just booked the Icon for Feb 2026 for my husband and I.

Wish I could at least buy drink packages for our 2025/2026 cruises, while they are on sale. I understand the excursions are too soon to book, and maybe even the dinning. But come on, drink packages?

Has anyone else had prices rise DURING the black friday sale?

The price change is due to exchange rates, the Euro is doing well against USD at the moment.  So where I experience decreases of base price before discount, you are getting the opposite.

OK, I can officially say I went a little bit crazy with these sales. Saved a bunch on internet, rebooked an excursion to save money and I even bought a few stuff on our second cruise for next year which isn't till Oct. Is it it dumb to buy anything for a cruise that far away? Booked an excursion and 2 specialty lunches for extremely cheap for the cruise in Oct.

We are on Anthem in Feb. and Liberty in Oct.

What sailing is that? For our 12/31 sailing on Odyssey, it's $254!

Yeesh. NYE must be worse than the newer ship inflation. I thought $149 for my kid-infested Wonder cruises was high.

Pretty sure I've seen some cruises under $100.

It's $88 for a Jan 15th 2024 Mariner sailing and $123 for the Jan 21st Wonder sailing. I loathe most of the BC food, so I didn't buy. But I did get the jet ski with pax for $110 total as they were "50%" off. PDCC had some decent deals.

That is literally the only reason why I am mildly curious about trying BC.

Oh well, #notteamPDCC anyway, staying on the ship lol

Maybe you would love it. Lots of people love it. I don't eat seafood and I found the marinade on the steak to be nasty.

Not liking seafood takes away a chunk of the menu. My family all thought the lobster tail was overrated but really liked the coconut crusted lobster sandwich and the ceviche app. I don't remember a marinade on the filet or maybe I liked it.

I still wouldn't pay for it but you guys know I'm frugal.

nope!! because you won’t hit the black friday sale of 2024 for that sailing. 💚

re: the beach club food — my go to a caesar salad with chilled shrimp (not hot/fried) on top and the appetizers. love the truffle fries too. i don’t often eat meat and the seafood can be touch or go for me otherwise but i found my winning combo in the salad last time and im looking forward to going back.

we like it for the quiet beach exclusivity and — i cannot stress this enough — the air conditioned bathrooms.

i don’t know why it’s such a thing for me but it is 😂

also we don’t do excursions otherwise and we tend not to do much specialty dining, so this winds up being our “splurge,” so to speak. 💚

I get it! Just a little bit of luxury (AC) when you are hot and sweaty is really nice. We used to go to a little amusement park called Storybook Land somewhere near the Jersey shore when my kids were younger and they had air conditioned bathrooms as well - I always thought that was a nice treat.

I get it, sometimes it’s just fun to treat ourselves to something decadent and over the top, even if it’s not logical.  We booked the beach club and have zero regrets

Has anyone repriced their actual cruise during this BF sale?

Yes, I was able to save $120 for each of the 2 rooms I have booked for my May cruise.  Another family going with us has a room for 4 and were able to save $140.

My Utopia cruise will most likely NEVER be cheaper than what I booked it for on the first day the schedule opened!

I was wondering that too because the new sale is up to $700, KSF and 30% discount.

All of mine are casino comps, with upgrades so it is hard to reprice.

Similar thoughts here. I have nothing but group rates so mine aren’t ever coming down but I do follow them on the RC site for various reasons & some have come down over the past couple months & a bit more this week.

So far haven't found anything really worth getting:

Jaime's lunch is a couple bucks cheaper but not worth the hassle to cancel and rebook.

We've decided not to get the soda package this year since we have our daily diamond drinks, diamond water, 2 bottles of wine, and can bring on cans of our preferred soda. We barely used the package last year and did a pitiful job on our vouchers, averaging only 2 a day!

Don't like any of the shore excursions (everything Royal is offering for Roatan is beach-based and as this is our first time we want to explore), the ruins explorations in costa maya are over priced (found same or similar ones elsewhere for less) and we're planning a resort for a day in cozumel.

Our actual fare is still over $500pp over what we initially paid.

And the photos package at 180 for 50 is still JUST over what I want to spend (shooting for 150-160 range if we're lucky)

So...so far...just going to enjoy everyone else's success

I got a headache! Wish they would allow a modification not a cancel & re book.

I was able to save on my Chops lunches and internet, as well as my Evian water packages....albeit all new charges have posted, not one refund yet. It's just such an inconvenience for sure. I know the refunds will arrive....eventually!

I actually waited to book some items because I didn't want to have to cancel. Others, I wanted to make sure they didn't sell out before BF sales but ended up not having much trouble with that. Once the BF sales started, I would go in to check to make sure the activity was still available (I mostly bought adventure excursions on Labadee) using my parents' names (they will not do any of those adventure excursions) to ensure the times I wanted were still there, then I quick cancelled and rebooked right away.

I'm seeing some refunds trickle in though already, so seems better than last year with all of those pending charges on my card for transactions that never went through. I have to do a full accounting so I can make sure I got everything back a la @Xaa

Nothing really great for what we book.

Good deals but didn't book.... photo packages, refreshment package, lunch specialty (wanted to book Hooked lunch but DD was totally not interested), CoCo Cay beach club an Thrill Park for March were half price (don't need either)

Ok (but not great) that we booked - Maya Key Private Island (Roatan), All Access Tour (wanted to try this once and it was reasonable on Liberty), also booked a Roatan excursion for Dec 2024 but not sure if we will keep that one (but good price so booked for now)

P.S. - Didn't actually do any re-pricing of bookings as our current ones were cheaper than Black Friday.
