  1. was it in a recent sailing? They just did this on our Anthem 7 night early July.
  2. Personal question, I know... if you feel comfortable answering, what do you spend out of pocket- no credits, no perks- to reach Prime in just one cruise? I am trying, but I feel like I am just not very good at this whole gambling w slots thing. I equate this to trips to the grocery store for a week, so.....so far I am down 2 weeks groceries with 1 day left, ($360) and I am only at 400 points.... what am I doing wrong? Playing max bets on penny slots.
  3. Currently on Anthem. We went to Jaime's for lunch and the waiter pushed back when I ordered one of each appetizer. For reference, party of three.
  4. Maybe because we don't cruise every few months, or maybe because we do not exclusively go on cruises when I take PTO, but I never considered this a ritual- I really didn't consider that. I just know it is disruptive and not my kind of thing. I would go to Dolly's rootin' tootin' whatever in Gatlinburg (which is cool when you know what you're in for) rather than a costly trip to Norway. This didn't happen in Greece and in Alaska it was a night 7 only occurance when the staff are basically begging for a perfect score. Sorry if I sound jaded; I just need to work my way up to Coastal Kitchen
  5. Maybe we can all develop and submit a skit to SNL given the influx in cruising.... must be relatable
  6. My son announced 'I'm out' before I had a chance to roll my eyes... little ones maybe, yeah
  7. Ok, my inner Karen is going to be let out of her cage for a minute. We are currently on a Norwegian fjords cruise and every single night dinner has been interrupted by an excessively long announcement, but tonight it was the announcement to get your napkins ready for the forced fun you are about to experience. It isn't even day 7 We just bailed - left our half-eaten dinner and left so we would not A. Be trapped and B. Have to suffer through that. Who honestly enjoys this?
  8. Are you running into tourism protestors or is the media overhyping it?
  9. Our running joke is the need to check out the local McDonalds menu in each new city we visit We were blown away by the pastry counter outside of Vatican City.
  10. Overview Not ready to say goodbye? Neither are we. Join the Stay Awhile Program so you can extend the last day of your cruise, remain onboard and continue to enjoy everything the ship has to offer. We'll handle your luggage while you enjoy a late breakfast or lunch at Windjammer Café or relax on the pool deck. The ship is yours. So, relax, kick back, and stay awhile. Important details and advisements Program allows each participating guest to remain onboard the ship while it is docked at the disembarkation port until the time that the ship requires all non-sailing guests to disembark the ship. Guest may access only the public areas, including but not limited to, dining venues, and pool deck. Guest will need to leave their stateroom and remove all luggage and personal belongings by the designated time. Luggage will be collected with all regular departure luggage. Guest must collect luggage at the Baggage Claim located in the port terminal. SeaPass charges will be deactivated by a stated time on the morning of departure. Guest must use credit card to purchase beverages. Alcoholic beverages and speciality coffee available for purchase using credit card where applicable (onboard consumption only). Sodas available to any guests who purchased a beverage package on the preceding cruise.
  11. I booked the train for the morning and a tour in the afternoon. For Whitepass RR, we got off and hiked for a bit then jumped back on about an hour later. In the afternoon we did a small group tour through Viator. We had plenty of time left over to explore the small town.
