PG Cruiser
I found these paper straws from Walmart. They're much better than the ones they use onboard. I don't like using reusable straws because I'm too lazy to wash them. Neesa
LovetoCruise87
Those look good. Most of the paper straws in restaurants get soggy after just a few minutes. I'll have to get some to use on our next cruise.

JennaRCB
I'm still glad Royal uses the paper straws instead of plastic even though they aren't always ideal though! I'm actually pretty impressed with the lack of single-use items on Royal Caribbean ships such as napkins and other paper products. I'm still traumatized from my elementary school days when during our lunchtime, I couldn't even finish the 8 oz. carton of milk before the straw had sealed itself up tight. WAYNO
Good paper straws is an oxy-moron. Even if they didn't disintegrate or otherwise collapse, they taste like paper! From Dollar Tree, I get a many-cruise supply of plastic straws for a dollar. I reuse them when I can, and I dispose of them responsibly. We leave a package of plastic straws in our luggage so we won't forget them for our next cruise. On our last cruise we had a lady ask us where we got a plastic straw from...Said she couldn't find one any where on the ships. So I guess we are smugglers...Lol

Based on the overwhelming response, the answer is YES. Just conceal them in the plastic bags that the on-board shops use when disposing of the straws.
