  1. Dead Sea is a great place. I've been to Israel, but not via a cruise. Another great place is Masada and of course the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
  2. Been to Nassau many times myself. Our next cruise stops there but my wife and plan on enjoying the ship...Harmony.
  3. As he is going to be the Chair of the Board of Directors, I think he will still have his hand in ideas and decisions that are made. Fantastic job he has done with RCG
  4. I was very happy that we were on one of the early sailings on Allure back in August. We actually had less than 1500 on board!
  5. About two weeks into November, the head turkey turns to his second-in-command and says, "I have a feeling something's going down. The farmer just unfriended me on Facebook."
  6. We had a cabana (Oasis Lagoon) for our cruise this past August. When we got it the price was $1200 and then a few weeks before we were to sail, it dropped to $499. I know it was probably due to not a lot of people on the ship, but I think we caught a great break!
  7. You may have already asked Siri this on your phone, but I think it is hilarious: Siri, what is 0 divided by 0? Imagine that you have 0 cookies and you split them evenly among 0 friends. How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense. And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends
  8. Well, I love pirate treasure museums, so I would pick that. All though when were there last month we did snorkeling.
  9. We were on Allure two weeks ago and I didn't notice any limits on the number of people in the pools.
  10. Ok, I know this is early, well actually it's not because it is less than a year now!! We are excited to be sailing on Harmony next year. Can't wait to try the Ultimate Abyss and also the water slides, and get some drinks from the Bionic Bar We were supposed to sail on her Thanksgiving of 2020, but we all know what happened to all the cruises then. This one will be just my wife and I, no other family. Any one else have this cruise booked?
  11. Oh dear. Yes, I parked on the right side next to the elevators. Got out of the car and was almost on the elevator when I realized my mask was still in the car and NOT on my face. lol
  12. We were on Allure on Aug 22 and I loved the almost empty garage. I was able to park on the first level above drop off.
  13. Awesome!!! When we were on Allure last week, we did not have to wait for a single elevator. Our cabin was on deck 14 and we could go all the way to 4 and back up again without stopping.
  14. To answer your questions: Yes Yes Yes and Yes Also, with college football starting, should those going into a stadium be tested? I If the CDC is placing these requirements on the cruising industry, then those same requirements should be placed on everything else. But they won't do that because as has been proven, the CDC does not like the cruise lines. I wonder if the CDC Director had a really bad experience on a cruise ship once and now she's like, "Cruising bad, I will make it stop"
  15. September 4, 2022 Harmony of the Seas Western Caribbean. Looking at possibly doing a 4 night on Mariner Feb 2022 to get us to Diamond status before the Harmony sailing.
  16. With the cruise we booked for September next year, that will finally get us to Diamond!! Woo! Hoo!!
  17. One other thing to mention. Both my wife and mother-in-law have to eat gluten free. Our head waiter, Michael, was amazing in this area. Every night as we were finishing up our meal he would come over and ask what they wanted for dinner the next night. Every meat that they had was gluten free. The appetizer, the entre and the desert. The menus don't mention anything about gluten free, but all you need to do is speak with your head waiter and they will take care of you.
  18. Royal really knows what they are doing!! The CDC could learn a few things from them.
