Jill Posted August 23, 2020 Report Posted August 23, 2020 It’s on Hallmark right now. Sounds so silly but man, it hurts. Chops, Central Park, Boardwalk. Goofy acting but I’m only watching to see the ship. I’m afraid I’ll burst into tears when I get to board again. I’ll be the one crying at embarkation next May lol. GlowTheWeird Posted August 23, 2020 Report Posted August 23, 2020 Watched this last week and still have this movie saved on my DVR, can’t bear to erase it RCIfan1912, Ogilthorpe and Jill 1 1 1 Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 We were on board during the last few days of filming. I still have not seen the movie ! Jill, Mike P, RCIfan1912 and 3 others 6 Quote
Floski Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 I was sitting here asking myself why am I watching, but I am sooooo jonesin' for a cruise. She is such a beautiful ship. God willin' and the creek don't rise, we'll be on her in 97 days. If that falls through, then, well, we have 188 days until we sail. But it will have been 2 years if we get to go in November, so that is my goal! RCIfan1912, Jill, Ogilthorpe and 2 others 5 Quote
HeWhoWaits Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 Watched it once. Two hours I'll never get back. Much better use of time is to watch various YouTube videos of people's time onboard various ships. RCIfan1912 and SpeedNoodles 1 1 Quote
ellcee Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 It's sooooo bad but the cruise stuff is fun. Neesa, GlowTheWeird and monctonguy 3 Quote

MaryCS62 Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 Watched that movie last night for the same reason -- never been on Harmony, but yeah, was just wanting to see the ship and locations - RCIfan1912, AnnetteJackson and GlowTheWeird 3 Quote
PPPJJ-GCVAB Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 Yup watched it last night for about the 8th time! Never been on Harmony and do hope to get the chance someday. I heard The Pena Vega's were crowned the 'Godparents' of the Symphony of the Seas! Actually I watched a video about it and apparently they cruise quite often! Just checked my "days til cruise" and it is at 238! Hey, COVID....PLEASE GET LOST!!!! We all want to get onboard our ships and CRUISE AWAY!!! GlowTheWeird and AnnetteJackson 2 Quote
emfagan Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 The PenaVega's do a lot of cruise content on their YouTube channel. This is one of my favorites featuring this new unique cabin on Oasis. WAAAYTOOO, Jill and GlowTheWeird 3 Quote
Sharla Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 I was thinking of watching the movie that was filmed when we were on the Harmony group cruise again. It wasn't a very good movie but it was fun to see the ship and some of our group being extras! Jill, Neesa, WAAAYTOOO and 1 other 4 Quote
YOLO Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 Our next ship is Harmony and it will be our first time, so I have to TIVO it! I looked it up and this is the next showing... GlowTheWeird and Jill 2 Quote

Floski Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 OHMYGOSH that was a freaking great blog!!! How much does that room cost? I would be a superhero to my wife if I could swing that. Get two extra jobs and I'm good! WAAAYTOOO and Jill 2 Quote
Kayleigh Posted August 25, 2020 Report Posted August 25, 2020 I caved and watched it! I told my husband about it and he's like, "you're only watching it for the ship aren't you". He's not lying . It was cheesy but cute. Today would have been 32 days until we sailed on Oasis out of Jersey! My in-laws planned a family vacation and we were really looking forward to this (as I'm sure most of you were/are). Hoping to cruise on her next year! Jill and Ogilthorpe 2 Quote

I will be the other lady crying at embarkation! I always get glassy eye's upon first laying eyes on my ship, I look over at my family and think about how beautifully blessed we are, 29 May 2021 can't come soon enough! I watched the movie earlier in the pandemic, while I am sure a lovely couple ( the Pena's) the story itself was painful, but the ship....I found myself rewinding scenes just for another look. She is a BEAUTY. Ogilthorpe, Jill, Floski and 2 others 4 1 Quote
Floski Posted August 26, 2020 Report Posted August 26, 2020 This big, burly dude will definitely be a little teary-eyed in Nov, but it'll be because of some dust in the air! I wonder if I can distantly hug every crew member within a week. JLMoran and Skigoofy 2 Quote

YouTube has a playlist for the general "Mighty Ships" series. Can scroll through it to find just the cruise ship entries. Link pasted below and made sure it didn't auto-resolve to the first video in the list, as that's the Tønsberg cargo ship. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3HQCMVMF328U8qAq49AMH8dBPl-YbBcm Quote
