Talk about torture !  I could never work somewhere that I could see a cruise ship leaving WITHOUT ME !

no doubt!    It's bad enough having accessibility to cruising websites while working.   This would be a complete and total failure of all productivity for me.

:4_joy: Believe me, it's not easy!  I'm on the 41st floor and have a clear view of the entire port. Monday's are the best, when all of the ships are lined up in a neat little row!

I have a buddy going on her a week from today.  Another one that goes on her 7/13 and I will be sailing on her 11/9 the weekend before we go on the Symphony 11/18

Great view..so envious....I would be cruising every weekend if I lived that close to the port!

I am anxious to see the first reviews and pics that are posted of her with all the changes.....OCt22 seems too far away now.

@RDDAILY There's no way I could see cruise ships coming and going nearly every day while I toil away at my desk! You must be a very strong person to do so! ?

Friend of mine & his wife are taking their first ever cruise on Mariner on 7/16. (I convinced them to go! ?)

:14_relaxed:   Like I said, it's definitely not easy!  But, I think after so many years of having this view, you kind of get used to it.   Although I have to say, I'm always impressed when I watch the ships turning around to leave the port.  It's amazing how they can just turn in a circle in such a small space!

Nice.  We were on Mariner in 2007 IIRC.  Was a cruise from L.A. to Mexico Riviera which they don't do anymore.    Strange to see this size of ship doing the 3 & 4 day bahamas runs but I do see their logic in it and I'm sure the capacity is needed.

I'm very excited! I will be on her a week from tomorrow!! I got a nice Junior Suite on deck 9 thanks to all my donations to the Casino lol

I, too, have a JS on deck 9 in October! Would love to hear any feedback (or pictures!) you might have!

Same - I'm hoping for something similar to AD where there was a bit of a furnishing refresh.

We have a JS on Deck 11 in August.  Decided to grab one of those since they are new. Probably will be identical to those on Adventure.  I was reading on some other forums that for the other ones, they are replacing furnishings "as needed".  @AGSLC5 would love to hear your feedback too.

I'll be keeping an eye out for your feedback as well!

Really excited for this cabin in particular as it's our first JS, and our travel agent was able to find us one on the hump! ?

A month ago when I booked, I was debating between a JS on Deck 9 or Deck 11.  After seeing scopes of the new Deck 11 JS from @CruiseLifeRick on Adventure, I decided to grab it.  Can't go wrong being steps away from the Solarium right? lol

I'm excited for you @KLAconQueso...first suite is awesome!

If scoping goes well next month on the Seaside, I'll likely scope on Mariner too.  I'll also do a live blog.

You are going to love the hump balcony. Had them twice on Adventure. It's great having the views both forward and aft!. If Mariner is like adventure, the balcony is kind of cavernous, so hold on to the railing while looking kiddo! We were on deck 7.
