I'm surprised that there are no sailings out of Cape Liberty during Spring Break 2026. After Odyssey leaves for a transatlantic on 03/15, there are no cruises until the end of April when Indy and Oasis start. Also interesting that Indy is doing a one-way from Cape Liberty to Miami, usually it's a non-revenue repositioning.

I finally got group rates from my TA. Prices are about what I expected but March 2027 is better than the summer and not THAT absurd (relatively speaking).

I haven't even looked at 2027 yet since the school board hasn't finalized the calendar yet (despite them saying they wanted to finalize the calendar sooner than normal)

Oh my wife doesn't have her schedule either. I'm just guessing based on the past several years.

I have no idea when it even comes out. Since I pretty much only book group rates these days, the refundable deposit takes away any risk of my guess being wrong (not that I think I need to rush to book an interior on Star for March 2027).

I could guess, too, but last time I did that (based on a draft calendar), the district changed spring break slightly.  We lucked out though since a snowstorm canceled that shifted day of break anyway.

Totally agree but group rates are locked in; they don't go up or down.

These are things the poors who don't stay in suites (unless freeloading) know, lol.

Wish they would release all cruises...at least the 7 nighters so we can see the whole picture.  We are holding off on xmas 2026 as the ones they released out of Florida are too $$$ (and Adventure is not out of the question but definitely not 1st pick).  Xmas is the one I really want to book as this is the only time we'll have both kids. Hoping Allure has decent pricing but from previous posts but sounds like it  may be up there too.   Booked Star for March 2027 for now.  Our school board does post dates but I believe it can change (but it's same/similar week each year).

We booked Icon for Spring Break 2027 on a hunch.  In our school district, Spring Break has always been the week of St. Patricks day for as long as I can remember.

Granted, we booked refundable on Icon for balconies.

We didn't sail during spring break until last year so I never really paid attention but it left on St. Patrick's Day like you said and this year's is the same week so that was my guess.

Sadly had to cancel a nice price on Wonder for this March b/c the dates for something my wife really wanted to attend shifted to earlier in the month and conflicted. It was a refundable deposit but that doesn't really make me any happier about it.

I've been looking at Star and Icon from these new released itineraries and there is no sailing scheduled for Thanksgiving Week for Star which should normally be a Western Caribbean/Mexico sailing which is odd.  Think they have something fun for that week that they are holding out on?

We held out for December 2026 too for now. I want Allure possibly, but I am afraid of the pricing after seeing the earlier 2026 sailings out of PE. I definitely don't want Adventure. Might do WN or UT again.....but definitely not booking that one yet.

The standard interiors on Icon appear to be smaller & lacking in storage compared to Oasis or Freedom class. You know we truly have no problem with our caves but we may have to move up to “Interior Plus” on Star.

When I compared group rates for a Utopia B2B with Star for that one there was a sizable difference so I went with Utopia. Obviously I can’t compare the difference for this next release yet.

I’m not overly excited about Icon class so I don’t mind waiting.

Star was my initial pick, but we have a lot of Star booked already. I thought to go back to Icon

Plus, I can see myself cancelling Icon and replacing it with Icon 3 that week anyway, but we'll see.

Jealous! That March will be my first opportunity to sail Star. I considered sailing Star in July 2026, but when I compared the prices, it was way better off to sail Star in March 2027 and return to Icon July 2026.

Wife established a plan for us moving forward, her birthday/Thanksgiving one year and my birthday/Christmas the following year and so on.

Guess I’ll be switching my Allure 8 Nt from January 2026 to December 2025 while onboard Symphony in the next couple days.  Guess I’ll figure out Thanksgiving 2026 too and take advantage of these Black Friday promos.

Anniversary is 11/5 so no go on that!  We have Odyssey booked for Sept next year doing Italy/Greek Isles/Turkey and then NCL Aqua to Bermuda in June 2026 so we’ll have 2 a year for the next couple years at least!
