  1. That's what we ended up doing, but it still took a while.
  2. The only way I'd ever get the Key is if we had tender ports. The priority tender would be very tempting. I kept watching it last cruise and I know a lot of people said that the Key was only slightly more than the internet package, but in our case, that wasn't true. Maybe if we had purchased two internet packages for one device each, but we purchased one package for 2 devices which is cheaper to begin with, and came nowhere close to being the cost of the Key. Now...if they had a special debarkation elevator....I'd be all over that! Debarkation was a nightmare and it took us half an hour to wait for an elevator. We were all the way on deck 11, so stairs with our carry on luggage was not realistic for us.
  3. We booked for summer 2026 too. It's so early, I can't even book a drink package yet!
  4. it's upsetting we pay for balcony rooms and can't fully enjoy them. I last cruised in June and the chairs weren't zip tied yet. I hope they will figure something out by my next cruise. They should just replace the chairs altogether then and put upright chairs that don't recline. They have those on inside balcony rooms on Oasis/Icon ships, don't they?
  5. Most likely, the majority of people aren't even aware that they can reprice. If it wasn't for me being on FB groups/cruise boards, I would never even think of checking the price
  6. Help me! Which ports are better? Aruba, Curacao, Perfect Day or St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Perfect Day?
  7. I mean, at least we'll have plenty of time to save.......
  8. I know! Probably because it's an extra day...but still...5k for ocean view balcony for 2 people....good god.
  9. They are back. Allure going to St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Perfect Day...but the price....my lord....
  10. Well, the prices are high from what I've seen. Was hoping they'd load before the sale is over Unless they "extend" it, which I hope for. I want to book as soon as possible at these prices because they will only go up.
  11. It was totally worth it for us. People are always so focused on alcoholic beverages only but we also took a ton of bottled water to our cabin (every time we went to the cabin, we took 2 bottles each from a bar). Bottled water would cost extra too. Then fresh squeezed juice in the mornings, specialty coffee drinks, Gatorates, smoothies, on top of all the cocktails. It was just nice not having to think about it, and not having a big bill at the end of the cruise. If you're even considering it, just do it and don't think about it anymore!
  12. Is Star doing 7 day cruises? I didn't see long enough. I was interested in Southern Caribbean and looked at those before it disappeared again. We are coming from CA so I don't want to do just 3/4 days.
  13. I think Oasis out of NY, and Symphony out of Galveston. So Allure the only Oasis out of Florida for long cruises.
  14. They need to stop playing with my heart!
  15. Looks like they are loading tonight, but it's been spotty. I found one and then it disappeared again. That or I suck at searching. Which could also be why....
