smokeybandit Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 I wonder what onboard spending is like in Baltimore vs. what RC could get moving Vision to Florida and doing shorties. Quote

Then Bimini which is not uncommon, but not too many cruises go there. But also Ocho Rios. I saw that! Bimini is kinda rare compared to other Caribbean ports but when was the last time a Royal ship has visited Ocho Rios? Falmouth has replaced it for years now I thought… Quote

Has anyone else noticed this? What are your thoughts? Quote
Austin Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 1 hour ago, Matt said: Have the seasonal Caribbean been released? I can't find any resources on it I found them on the deployments website. Just go down to 6-8 night itineraries and the new ship PDFs populate that are part of the release for winter ‘26-‘27. I couldn’t see them on the RCI cruise search. Matt 1 Quote

Allure comes in at $200 more for us. Not a big difference but our Harmony booking is already $1200 more than we typically pay. (Recently we've been booking by a third party which comes out much less than Royal). And leaving on a Wednesday will probably be an advantage when it comes to flights. Probably stick with Harmony...but that's what we're doing this Xmas. Itinerary is nice though. Would love to return on Allure though...and after the refurbishment would be nice. HM is going into dry dock spring 2026 so there is hope for that ship too. But I agree with you, I want back on Allure too at some point after refurb. 2 hours ago, Matt said: Have the seasonal Caribbean been released? Nothing NCL changed their normal Friday sailing Boston to Bermuda to a Sunday sailing with a larger ship. This is happening for the 2026 season. Sunday's were RCL's turnaround day historically. I'm hearing Royal was none too pleased with the change of days and thus far has not scheduled anything departing from Boston. There are still Canada/New England sailings out of Cape Liberty stopping in Boston but no turnaround calls. Quote
JasonOasis Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 Thank God, Allure of the Seas isn't doing 3/4 night Bahamas cruises for November 2026. I just book our B2B for November 2026 in a crown loft. And 14 nights in a crown loft cost $1083 more than 7 nights in a sunset corner suite on Icon Class ships. I'm so happy I don' have to go to MSC, NCL or Galveston (Symphony), love Symphony of the Seas, but Galveston ugh not my favorite port at all. Quote

Can you get a B2B going to St Maarten or St Thomas? Roatan? I would not want to hit Coco Cay and or Nassau twice in less than a week. Plus the casino points would be broken up into 2 different sailings. If it works for you great, but for me it would just not be worth it. Sweety and The Fox 2 Quote

That’s what cruising is all about, different strokes… We did a 3/4 B2B to go to PDCC twice in a week once before & have several more booked. Definitely works for us but totally understand why it wouldn’t appeal to others. Quote
smokeybandit Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 I would do a shorty B2B but the combined price always seems more expensive than a straight up 7 nighter. OCSC Mike 1 Quote

That’s what had us continue going on Wonder instead of Utopia B2B’s until our upcoming summer cruises. The group rates I got were similar & there are some other factors that bring the total cost down for the shorty B2B’s for us. A couple quick examples… We spend nothing on excursions (which I could do on a 7N of course but it’s hard to pass up everything with only one PDCC stop) & since we share one account, D+ covers internet for an entire 3/4 B2B whereas I have to spend a little to cover a 7N cruise. ScottD Posted March 31 Report Posted March 31 I know it's a long shot, but MAYBE they pulled out of Baltimore and will look at Philly down the road. I know we are getting a terminal slapped together for NCL, but not sure if it will be exclusively for them, or maybe another cruise line can join the fun over here!! WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
