Being able to drive to the port and not having to fly is such a gamechanger, especially with how inconsistent flights have become. It's not just the money, but the peace of mind that makes it an appealing option even with more limited itineraries. Good luck with packing!

Alaska is amazing, went in 2017 and it's still my favorite vacation/cruise. The White Pass Railroad is a great excursion, definitely one of the highlights for my family. Enjoy this trip!
