Thumper44
I'm trying to think of where to tell people to find us… and the only reliable place from day to day on a cruise is that we'll be in the royal theater almost every night and we always come early and sit in the middle of the middle section on the main level, maybe 6 or 7 rows from the stage. That seems to be the one constant from one cruise to the next that never changes. We usually do all the other stuff (solarium, pub trivia, game shows, particular eating places, etc etc) but we almost never skip the evening show. What about you? PRMLVM
Live Latin from Boleros! Followed by Anywhere there is a live performance of jazz standards, old favorites (though "old" is subjective, I'm aware....) Thumper44
ChessE4
In the Centrum on the smaller ships, Promenade on larger ones. And we always catch the evening shows, too. Thumper44

WAAAYTOOO
I usually recommend the Viking Crown lounge for ships that still have one. Thumper44 and PPPJJ-GCVAB 1

Kelseylovestocruise
Daytime is on a lounger by the pool in the solarium. Evening is Viking crown lounge. Night is the schooner bar (but I love to the casino bar for my martinis and then come back as schooner bars just aren’t as good) Thumper44 and PRMLVM
happy cruisers 2
Schooner Bar in early evening (if the entertainer is great) and Boleros late evening (if the music and dancing are great). Thumper44

HeWhoWaits
The only time and place you're guaranteed to find me on a consistent basis is at or near the front of the line waiting for WJ to open for breakfast. The first available real food in the morning happens far too late for this early riser. tingtang, DonR, Thumper44 and 2 others
ScottD
Probably a table near the Sorrentos or outside the English pub. I think we spent most of our time people watching and enjoying drinks and pizza between those two spots. In two cruises, we only ended up in the Theater once! Cruising_Figure_Skater
I've not cruised with Royal yet but on my last 2 cruises - any venue with a pianist or live musician. But I have a love for a piano bar, so hoping to find my spot on Oasis in May My friend is a smoker so if I lose him I'll check the designated smoking places first and then panic if I can't find him there. The other place he'll be is at a bar, but there are quite a few so I may have to search (and enjoy some drinks to keep me hydrated during said search... haha!) The first available real food in the morning happens far too late for this early riser. As a fellow early riser, I appreciate Oasis class ships on which Park Cafe at least opens at 6:30am. That's usually where I am getting a bagel with lox or egg sandwich before I have my actual breakfast a bit later with my wife. When we don't have day plans (leaving the ship, trivia, etc.), we're often in the Solarium for at least a few hours (although I will wander off for snacks). Noskill
Casino in the morning on a sea day to avoid the smoke and crowds and the Schooner Bar most evenings listening to the piano performer. Thumper44

Vancity Cruiser
Guaranteed to find me in the solarium all day on a sea day (between snack breaks). I find a spot I like on embarkation day and I'll be in the same spot the rest of the cruise. I'll have a book in front of my face though. WAYNO
And when we're not in the casino, a restaurant, a show, or in our room, we're likely found in the Promenade, in front of, or across from Sorento's (or whatever it's called this week). DoomSlayer
I am all over the ship most cruises, no single place will be best to find me. But I usually am in a Facebook group for the cruise, so if they really want to find me, they can do so virtually via Facebook. SpeedNoodles
It depends on the ship. On Harmony last time, it was the Schooner Bar. Often it's the pub. It's where we find the most engaging bartender. Who knows where we'll be found on Icon!
