I know that is past the mandate so maybe it will be full capacity? When I do a mock booking online there are only a few cabins available and the balconies are all sold out, so maybe they do this to get you to book a suite? Would love if anyone can chime in on that. I am really hoping for a reduced capacity since I will have three kids using adventure ocean(and one in the nursery) and I want to make sure we can drop them off most nights so we can visit the casino Liberty is already doing 2600+, would expect it to be at capacity fairly soon. Brando95 Posted November 16, 2021 Report Posted November 16, 2021 Not sure what the exact count was on Adventure on the 11/8 sailing but someone was told around 1300. Really seemed like I had the ship to myself a lot of times. I think I shared an elevator with 1 person the entire trip. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote

rhythmiccombo Posted November 17, 2021 Report Posted November 17, 2021 Anyone know what the guest count is on the Nov 14th sailing on Harmony of the Seas? I'm cruising out on Nov 28 and curious what the capacity might be. Quote

Ampurp85 Posted November 17, 2021 Report Posted November 17, 2021 Be advise that while the cruise lines hope for an upwards trend, don't bank on that. There are a lot of factors that can result in lower/higher numbers. Crew is often ill-informed but I would estimate 50-60% gogopeach, JeffB and sammy79 3 Quote

Funeegal Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 On Symphony. Windjammer is open for dinner. We were told 918 kids on board for this Thanksgiving week. We were told 4896 passengers. The ship feels much busier than over the summer on Adventure and yes, we had to wait for elevators. Quote

We will get count tomorrow, but we were told 60% capacity today and just above 3200 passengers. The ship feels much busier than over the summer on Adventure and yes, we had to wait for elevators. Is there long lines for stuff or the decks packed? Christmas I am thinking would be max like Thanksgiving and RC said they are shooting for 65% in December. Hoping it isn't too crazy at 65% Quote

Yes, there are some lines in Sorrentos and Cafe Promenade, but not too bad. We did have to wait for elevators and capacity on elevators is not really being followed. Quote
Lone Star Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Currently on Mariner for a 5 day and was informed by staff that we are just shy of 3000. 800 of which are children. Quote
Funeegal Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 So today when we asked at guest services, we were told 3,000. In Miami, they said 3800. This is Symphony. I can say lines are minimal. Elevators are 6 and no one follows that. Pool capacities are not listed. There were pool chairs available on a sea day every time I looked (morning, midday, afternoon). Windjammer is open for dinner. BrianB and Heymarco 1 1 Quote

billdauterive Posted November 22, 2021 Report Posted November 22, 2021 On Liberty now. They expected 1300 more than any previous week (so well over 3000). Definitely a LOT of kids this sailing. Pool and solarium seem closer to pre covid, but empty chairs can still be found without too much issue. Fitness center is busiest I've ever seen. Huge line for open skating for both sessions which filled up long before the doors even opened. Flowrider was longest line I've seen for a sea day (even after splitting into 2 sides). Royal promenade is significantly less crowded than usual. Windjammer is definitely open for dinner. Thanksgiving is probably a big reason why, but I'll try to get actual numbers from guest services later (which is as busy as ever). I think the main takeaway is anything that kids like is overcrowded and everything else is pretty empty (this is my 3rd Thanksgiving cruise on Liberty). Bar wait times are minimal if anything at all. They can have a ballpark figure but there are a ton of factors that can change that number. Like cancellations, people testing positive, people get turned away because of lack of documentation, etc. So as of now they can have 4000 booked but only end up with 3100, you won't know until you sail. My Halloween sailing was supposed to have close to that but ended up at around 3300. JenM 1 Quote
BrianB Posted November 29, 2021 Author Report Posted November 29, 2021 There's no way to know how many actually sail until sail away. I usually wait until after dinner on day 1 to get the 'final count'. Quote
