Since the US now requires International travelers inbound to have a Covid test one day prior to arrival how will that affect those of us on the Navigator of the Seas stopping in Ensenada, Mexico?
Uk ( England ) has just announced the need for Testing before flight to UK expect Scotland to follow soon

She brings up a good point about giving out your booking number on unofficial group cruises
My question would be where did the FCC go?
I mean its book with Confidence so even if cancelled cruise credit is issued!
However theres no doubt these past few weeks there has been numerous people joining then posting complaints straight away never to be seen again, at first i thought it was Matt boosting membership numbers before selling forum for millions of dollars ( joke ) but now i think its just someone either trying to badmouth RC or who gets a kick from posting things then sits back and watchs the replies
Also how come all of these recent complainants switch off profile view thing? Even those who are not tech savy manage it!

A lot to digest here. I'll wait to see if this poster ever returns to the site to determine how I'd respond.
Lol have you noticed also the amount of people joining site same day just to post a complaint about RC and they never return?

Stop telling people they can just sneak out once in port!!
There will always be people who think that the rules dont apply to them! You only have to look at these threads when people have a moan about something then finish off by saying they are pinnacle, diamond or upside down pineapple because they think that status gives them a god given right to be above others

Even though they sold you the shore excursions?
Poster DOES not say he booked an excursion, he booked cruise with RC but at no point is excursion mentioned

Not great for people crossing the pond for cruises, but fully understand the reasoning behind the implementation of these measures.

At the 70s Disco Inferno Party, they have stopped introducing the men as the "Village People", they now call the "The Macho Men"
Thats probably a copyright thing!
Theres a lawsuit in Germany right now where the real tina turner is suing a tina turner tribute act because she looks like her ( no joke )
I would like to know which one is simply the best?

, I will continue to wash my hands at every opportunity and otherwise take care of myself.
As 99% of people on here will also do! Myself included!
Difference is if i see something onboard i will deal with it there not return home then post on forum and critise everyone who try to make valid points or critise the parents of those involed or say those involved will get herpes then accuse eveyone else of being a bully!

You actually did NOT get the point of my post. I am not concerned for myself. I am concerned about the vulnerable servers/staff on the ship who are exposed to this type of inconsideration.
100 % agree
If you dont mind me asking what did the young man say when you approached him about his behaviour?
Or the crew members when you reported this matter!
I mean you just said you were concerned so im presuming concerned enough to do something about it while onboard not just wait until youre home then post on a forum.

I also appreciate the points made by Ray I tend to be judgmental, and Ray and others have reminded me that sometimes there are other reasons for strange or inappropriate behavior.
I just love a good debate lol

This variant has been found in mainland Europe including the UK.
Measures have been reintroduced to slow the spread.
These measures include the wearing of masks and PCR test on day 2 for ALL entering country no matter vaccination status.
Also ANYONE coming into close contact MUST self isolate for 10 days again this applies to all even if fully vaccinated.

I tend to use skyscanner to see whats available but always book directly on airlines own site.

I think you are misunderstanding peoples replies and wrongly classing it as bullying.
The 1st reply simply suggests that we should NOT judge a book by its cover! In that the person involved may have underlying issues.
2nd reply points out that we need germs to build up our immune system.
3rd reply points out that staff may also be an issue, lots of threads on here showing that cases of covid are higher in crew members on all ships.
Also staff should be wearing gloves when working and dealing with any passenger
Now your replies are your opinions and that this person doesnt have underlying issues, has parents who didnt educate him properly and who in your own words will catch herpes and spread it around!
Yet you call others bullies and insulting when none of the replies launched any personal attacks towards you?
Ps Herpes (HSV -1) can be transmitted orally simply by giving your 80 year old grannie a kiss at xmas if the bacteria is present around the mouth ( cold sores )

Og poster asked what compensation people received from RC when an airline lost their luggage because he didnt think 100$ obc was good enough.
he got the answer to this question which is what he asked for

The DOT does have rules in place covering delayed or lost luggage and your varies because there is a difference between delay luggage and lost luggage.
You are probably correct in your assumption that it was US but OG poster doesnt actually say where they cruised from! Flight could have been Bristol to Barcelona with Wizz Air which would mean different rules apply.

Another reason to fly in a day early for your cruise.
Agreed if they had then they could have went to the shop around the corner!
Also the problem with checked luggage in that you cant take it with you!

100 obc was a very nice gesture from RC considering your lost baggage had nothing to do with them.
Airlines are responsible for lost luggage and if they cannot get your luggage to you same day then you can buy new clothes, toiletries etc up to set amount and then invoice airline, Its all in black and white in T&Cs also travel insurance would have covered this.
Fit to Fly testing available on board?
