Cruising Granny Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 Just wondering how long it should take to see updated points. Got off Adventure Sept 7 and points haven’t been added. Who/where would I go to check on this? Seems like points were added sooner on previous cruises. TIA Quote
loki007 Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 i think it is usually around 3-4 weeks. I'd call the C&A number next week if you still don't see them. PhillyLady 1 Quote
PPPJJ-GCVAB Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 I got off Sept 13 and have had my added points there since last week. Quote
SplashOfWater Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 Updated points should show up no later than a week after your cruise ended. Mike n Ky and Villageidiot 2 Quote
smokeybandit Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 Mine have always been updated 6-7 days after. CruiseGus, LTR, Pooch and 1 other 4 Quote
tjcruisers Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 Ours have always shown up pretty quick, usually within a few days of getting home Quote
billdauterive Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 Usually a week or two. But agreed that if you don't see it by next week I would call. They are infamous for getting C&A numbers mixed up, or creating new accounts without telling you that need to be reconciled with your actual account. I've personally had this happen on 3 separate occasions. PPPJJ-GCVAB, Last2Know and PhillyLady 2 1 Quote

CruiseGus Posted October 5, 2024 Report Posted October 5, 2024 Never waited more than 7-10 days After that I'd be calling C&A Quote
Ryan79 Posted October 5, 2024 Report Posted October 5, 2024 Between 1-3 weeks is what I’ve experienced Quote
BrianB Posted October 5, 2024 Report Posted October 5, 2024 Mine are usually added in about a week after the cruise. But there are times where mistakes are made. I’m usually solo in a balcony and sometimes they only give me one point per night…or if I’m solo in a suite sometimes I only get two. Every time I called Crown and Anchor, they took care of it immediately. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Mike n Ky Posted October 6, 2024 Report Posted October 6, 2024 The longest time it took for mine to be added was when I made diamond...seemed to take forever but in reality, it was about a week. SplashOfWater 1 Quote
FOB Posted October 12, 2024 Report Posted October 12, 2024 Finished a cruise on 4th and they had already updated our points yesterday always been about a week in my experience WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
WAYNO Posted October 12, 2024 Report Posted October 12, 2024 This is an issue for us. Used to be 3 or 4 days and we'd see our points. Then on later cruises it's taken a week. My Wife's last cruise she received her points in a week, but her roommate was 3+weeks, and then only after she contacted customer service. We got off Quantum on Sep 23rd and have not seen our points, but others from the same cruise have received theirs. I suspect we wont see ours. This has happened before, so I have a letter in with Royal to get it checked out. I've found in the past, the longer we wait, the more difficulty we will have convincing Royal that we've not been credited. PPPJJ-GCVAB, Ampurp85 and WAAAYTOOO 1 2 Quote
Babsy47 Posted October 14, 2024 Report Posted October 14, 2024 Strange follow-up . . . I never really looked at mine. I did after my last cruise and noticed 7-day cruises from long, long ago credit only 1 point. I’m guessing the policy changed at some point. Can you ask To have old cruises credited with one point per night? Quote

I was admonished for not using our correct Q&A account numbers. Well now... I know our numbers and every cruise document has the correct numbers. They say they've corrected that error, (what error?) and our point total has been corrected. But on their site, we still don't see these points added. We have experienced these discrepancies in the past, and they've never been rectified easily. Quote
WAYNO Posted October 17, 2024 Report Posted October 17, 2024 Well now... I reached out to MBAYLEY and I now am officially credited with my missing points. Sometimes we've just gotta stick with it. but, P.S. After I saw my point credits were correct, I received another email from MBAYLEY's office. Seems they are still confused about my C&A account number. We have one number each, we've had it a long time, all our documents have the correct number, but Royal says we were using the wrong number. This gets old. WAAAYTOOO, SplashOfWater, JustMeJoe and 2 others 5 Quote

My wife and I did a side-by-side comparison of our past cruises last year and found that I was missing credit for 4 cruises we took together. The key thing to remember is that linked companions only show the highest number of completed cruise points for the couple. Individual cruise point totals are not shown. She had done a few cruises with friends and had been "in the lead" until I did a 12 night solo cruise from a casino certificate. I should have moved into the top point position but our numbers never changed. Once the review was complete and I knew which ones were missing, I called C&A with the booking numbers and sail dates. Turns out I had 4 different C&A numbers and 2 Casino Royale numbers that had to be merged. I have no idea how it happens but it was resolved within a week or two. WAAAYTOOO and SplashOfWater 2 Quote
Mark_A Posted October 21, 2024 Report Posted October 21, 2024 Normally a week, but after Icon, those points took the full 30 days,. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote

Cruising Granny Posted October 26, 2024 Author Report Posted October 26, 2024 Update to my post Finally got my points today!! That was after 2 phone calls and an email by my TA. During my second phone call they said my birthday was incorrect. My TA and I couldn’t understand this because it had to be correct on the reservation for immigration purposes. Whatever, they are there now. Thanks for all the suggestions for help. WAAAYTOOO, KristiZ and WAYNO 3 Quote
