I order the Artisan Cheese Plate with extra fig chutney as an appetizer. It's a fan favorite for our family to start the meal and keeps us from filling up on bread.

Couple of questions (lobster, seapass credit card)
Last2Know replied to DZ_Da_Dude's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I was on Mariner April 8-12. Can confirm that lobster was not on the MDR menu during the 5 night sailing to Cozumel and CocoCay. -
Sunsational drink mixes...Gone?
Last2Know replied to Last2Know's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Agreed. I was on Mariner last week and tried several of my frozen favorites while poolside. I have to say the flavors are "flat" when compared to Island Oasis and Sensational. My go to was a Tito's frozen lemonade. It is undrinkable with the Finest Call mixer. -
I've never heard of anyone getting a refund for the D+ coupons, I have purchased the wifi package and gotten the D+ coupons enabled at the Voom desk for a second device. This is nice for the sea days or CocoCay.

Congratulations on making Diamond! Don't forget to introduce yourselves to the Diamond Concierge during their posted hours in the Diamond Lounge. They can work wonders on resolving most issues that pop up during a cruise.

Nassau cruise port installing free wifi
Last2Know replied to smokeybandit's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Based on current events, I'd be more likely to spend time off the ship if there was shopping and other amenities like Wi-Fi within the secure area at Nassau. I like the Cozumel model. I know I pay a bit more in Cozumel when shopping at the vendors at the port area but the cost savings out in town is negated by the cost of a taxi. -
We used to live nearby and here were my favorites places to take visitors when they came to Fla: 1. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument 2. Anastasia State Park - my favorite beach on the east cost of Fla 3. Old Town - lots to see there Restaurants: 1. O'Steen's restaurant (a local favorite since 1965) 2. Columbia restaurant in the historic district.

I appreciate the discussion from everyone since we've only sailed out of Miami a few times (pre-COVID). We're now planning to Uber/Lyft to the port and have a later check-in for Explorer's transatlantic in April.

Are the Nestle Sunsational drink mixes gone from all the ships? I was told by the bar staff on Vision that RCL had switched brands. TBH, it might take some time for my tastebuds to grow accustomed to the change. I don't recall the brand but looks like Finest Call may have been the replacement based on the style of bottles I saw.

Same here with D+ and Prime. I made Prime late last year and now find myself cruising solo for the first time since leaving Uncle Sam's Canoe Club in 2010. Two solo cruises booked via Casino Royale since we welcomed our first grandchild. Opa will be sailing without YaYa for a few more months while she's busy helping out the new mom.

Yep, my favorite place to relax too. I've often contemplated bringing a packable hammock and getting super boogie like Virgin.

Celebrity vs Royal Caribbean to Bermuda
Last2Know replied to SLM's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
@SLM, I've only cruised once with X on Apex. It was a great couple's experience and would definitely take 5 days over 7 to Bermuda. IMHO, my X cruise had a totally different vibe than cruises on Royal. We enjoyed lots of relaxation and spa time without the kids. The only draw back is not accumulating loyalty points on Royal but the status match is nice.
