I can't imagine double that with all the neediness of the littles. He always thought that 2 flowriders would mean more stand up advance times. WN (July 2023) was when he really started to get into the flowrider. Since then we sailed OY, IC, and those only have one as well. He was pretty excited to go on OA with 2. Anyway, as it turns out, there is not much more advance riding time. He was rather disappointed. Most times, they ran one side boogie board, one side mixed wave. The lines were long on both sides. The only time they pretty much ran advance only was from 9-10:30am each day. So not a noticeable difference from ships with one wave. He actually said that his favourite wave so far is Icon, but we both realize that could have been due to reduced capacity on the inaugural. Cruising Granny
Always amazes me how we “normal” people get that 28 kindergartners is too many in a classroom but “the powers that be” don’t. My last year teaching in FL, 1996, I maxed out at 31 first graders with a part time assistant. Retired now, after teaching in GA. Miss the teaching part and the kiddos but not all the other you have to put up with now. To all you teachers, bless you! and retirement is wonderful! Just went on 10 day cruise and looking forward to 2 more this year. Only one during peak “kids time” since we’re taking grands and great grands! OCSC Mike
Decided to call an audible & skip Mexican night in the MDR. I would have gotten butter chicken that I’m sure is in WJ & there was even less than usual for my wife. She’s napping & we’ll worry about dinner later. In the meantime I went back to ELF before they closed for more tacos (I still won’t eat the guac, aka green sludge). Then got a lime & coconut on the way back to the cabin minus the souvenir bucket. Still not sure if I like this drink or not. Cactus527, JohnK6404, MaryS and 3 others

While you would get the chumps like me with the white bands trying to earn the blue band, that line would come and go. they would give people 2 chances(1 turn) and if they didn't get the blue band that couldn't try again until the employees switched out(so like once an hour). But the good news was it was open most of the day so gave plenty of ride time opportunity. Lovetocruise2002

From what Hubby has told me, that seems to be the general rule they all follow. However, on OA last week, it was the white band for stand up.
