codyl
Having been on the Symphony of the Seas last summer, we loved that the visit to Coco Cay was the last port visited. It allowed us to make friends on the journey and then meet up at Coco Cay to share time together. Does anyone know when RC changed most of their Oasis sailings to visit Coco Cay on the first days versus towards the end? Matt
I don't think it's one or the other. I've seen it both ways. I'm going on Wonder on Sunday and our last day is CocoCay, and I'm pretty sure @Lovetocruise2002 on Harmony is doing same. So I think it's just luck the way you're seeing sailings on your end. WAAAYTOOO
We’re currently on OA for B3B. PDCC is on day 1 for the 2 western Caribbean itins and day 7 for the eastern Caribbean itin. It is just a function of berthing (PDCC) availability and itinerary utilization. JimnKathy, RCIfan1912, PPPJJ-GCVAB and 2 others
codyl
Yeah, I noticed all of the sailings for 2023 for the Oasis class ships hit Coco Cay on the way out, and days 6-X are sea days. On Wonder it looks like Apr 23, 2023, is the last itinerary for this year that stops at CC on the way back. I was looking around for information on the change since it's across all Oasis Class ships and is the case for departures at Canaveral and Miami, so distance is not the determining factor. barjpoe
I think its rough being on the last day. When you get back on board you have to hurry(?) up and pack. Maybe some can just throw the stuff in the suitcases, but I need a little organization. WAAAYTOOO
I agree with @barjpoe. I prefer having a sea day the last day. Va4fam, CrimsonCruiser, CruiseGus and 6 others
Ontariocruisers99
We did Nassau then Coco Cay 1.5 years ago on Freedom. Last month on Liberty we did Coco Cay then Nassau. We prefer Coco Cay as the last Port day but hey, we are in the Caribbean so life is good either way!

I really don’t like Coco Cay on the last day. Too rushed. Much prefer to end on a sea day as well. CruiseGus and Neesa
MoneyMan702
On Oasis currently and we go to CocoCay on Day 7. Last sea day is Day 6. We did go to Labadee on Day 3, so our cruise is kind of “sandwiched” with good RCI beach stops. WAAAYTOOO and rjweber3

brdjnr
we have always liked pdcc as last port stop. That has made for some tough drives home, but a price has to be paid.
asquared17
hot take but — we thought we’d be rushed with PDCC on the last day but actually it was really nice. the perfect calm for our last day aboard. i am used to fighting with the aggressive sea breeze on the pool day on the last day and feeling like i’m hemmed in on all sides with fellow sunbathers kind of bummed it’s gonna be our number 2 stop in may on harmony actually… either way, it’s a beautiful stop and we’re with the consensus here — always happy to go Neesa and FireFishII

We sailed out of Bayonne often when we lived in VA. The thing I loved the most about sailing out of Bayonne was the high number of sea days. Doing just that this July with family! Like a few of the other posters noted…Sea days are always great right before end of cruise.
