janderson
I just noticed that I believe on Day 6 of our next cruise we will turn Platinum on the Crown & Anchor chart. Is there someone we need to notify or will they automatically know and give us our pins and robes as the benefits state?
Xtentions
I do not believe you will get the benefits until your next sailing not the one you tick over on. We are in the same position and will tick over to Platinum on our cruise in November but will not receive the benefits until our January cruise. SPS
You won't be recognized as a Platinum member until after your cruise concludes and your C&A account is updated. (Usually within two weeks after disembarkation) You won't receive Platinum benefits until the next cruise. Rackham and Bazza
Bazza
There are much wiser people on here than me but I don't think you change mid-cruise but on your next one you will be at that higher level!

ChessE4
By the way, robes are for use on the ship. You don't get to keep them. On future cruises, I believe you need to ask your stateroom attendant to place them in your room.

WAAAYTOOO
While you won't get any of the Platinum "perks", you should be able to get your pins from the Loyalty Ambassador. Just drop by his/her desk on the last day and ask for them. Psycho and Barb

janderson
I'm not upset at not getting the perks. This is my first cruise to switch levels where I might get something to show it and I just didn't know how it worked. Thank you for the information and I might stop by and see if we can get our pins but that is no big deal either. I can wait until the next cruise no issues. It is good to know though that you might have to let your stateroom attendant know to put the robes in your room. Thank you everyone for the help!! mom2mybugs
Just a piggyback question... Do you get pins at every level? I'm pretty sure I got nothing for reaching Platinum. In exciting news, I will reach emerald on my December cruise. In not exciting news, I still need 4 more cruises to hit diamond lol! I gotta retire in ten years so I can cruise in the off school season, grab a js and get double points! Wish I could have booked something when royal was doing double points! I will be at 57 points but he's cruised less than I have. I was thinking he gets to live through me though and get the same points. Jane If your husband logs into the Royal Website what does his status and points say? If they aren't the same as yours call CAS and have them place you both in a relationship. Ampurp85
I believe when you match status, they will get their recognition when they sail again.

I have seen several people wear them to the spa and the pool but not the dining room or casino.

I always handle all the registering him. Now that I think about it, I will need to figure this all out, because that will cause issues with the app and check in. Can I pick a time for both of us with the app since we have the same cruise number? Or do i have to sign into both phones? Jane
