  1. Nassau, hands down my least favorite. If I book a cruise with a stop in Nassau, it's because the rest of the itinerary is enticing enough to offset Nassau. Although, I do enjoy the quiet on board when in Nassau.
  2. I don't see anything on the website about shutting down for weather/rain/lightning but I would assume if conditions were bad enough, they would shut down during the weather event. With that said, it DOES say there are "No Refunds and No Rainchecks" for purchased tickets. Buyer beware, I guess.
  3. Let's not forget: GTY = Guarantee stateroom JR's = Johnny Rocket's CP = Cafe Promenade (although, admittedly, this can also mean Cruise - if you cruised before, you KNOW what I'm talking about ) And I've always assumed DW and DH mean Darling(or Dear) wife and Darling(or Dear) Husband. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. I simply asked what my current profile specified with regard to upgrades. She told me it was set to "no upgrades" so I asked her to change it to "accept upgrades". She also confirmed that if they choose me for a possible upgrade, they will call first to confirm that I want the room being offered.
  5. I called a few minutes ago. C&A rep was very helpful and it was a piece of cake! Thanks!
  6. Do they still have the ability to set your preferences? I can't find anything on the website now. You used to be able to find it under your profile.
  7. I couldn't agree more. We will be there again in less than 3 weeks (our 3rd time since the re-build) and I think I get more excited with each time!
  8. Do yourself a favor - check your luggage.
  9. And I doubt the captain will spend the whole time trying to upsell you like the spa people do.
  10. I wonder if they reversed the location of the Ultimate Family Suite with the Royal Loft Suite, since the Royal Loft appears smaller in the image, but is 390 sq ft LARGER (1524 sq ft). Or .... they reversed the sq ft info.
  11. This was discussed in another forum and the short answer is no. You can't convert 2 reservations into one.
  12. Thanks for your very descriptive review. And for confirming what I have always suspected of the Royal-Up program. Given how close to sailing these rooms are assigned, it always seemed likely you were being assigned undesirable/unwanted rooms.
  13. I've never booked through a travel agent (I'm a control freak), but it would make sense that you would do it yourself. There are questions that you must attest to the truthfulness of the statements - seems it would be inappropriate for a third party to answer those. Just my opinion.
  14. Thanks - I don't have XM so I guess I should have kept my mouth shut. I thought I knew what I was talking about.
  15. XM is satellite, not internet based, so I would assume it would work. Whether you're on land or sea, shouldn't matter. It's a question of whether the satellites are positioned for the smaller Caribbean islands. You would, obviously, need to have the proper satellite receiver.
  16. What departure port were you looking at? Maybe the homeports for those two ships were changed. Wonder is home ported in Canaveral for April '24. Oasis is sailing out of Miami in April of '24.
  17. Well, technically, 45 days IS within 90 days.
  18. When are you sailing? If after Thanksgiving, wait until Black Friday. That's usually the best sale price on the drink packages and excursions.
  19. The testing requirement will end effective September 19. I can practically GUARANTEE it! P.S. I board Harmony of the Seas Sept. 18.
  20. Admit it - you had to google the name to make sure you had the spelling correct, didn't you?
  21. Thank you for clarifying that. When it was first announced (just a couple weeks ago) I think the wording was confusing, and I took it to mean that the Starbucks kiosks were included in the drink package.
