Royal Beach Club Paradise Island
CruzOnBye replied to Doug_Texas's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I do like the concept of the bundles since we always do the DBP. Without the bundle the prices for my April Utopia cruise mirror Mike's post above. We have a b2b and the 4N leg is slightly cheaper per day than the 3N leg. -
This morning had several 50% off sales for CocoCay on all my upcoming cruises. Just an FYI! QUESTION: We are traveling with my parents, they are a linked reservation to ours. My dad loves to do the water slides with our son (9yrs). Has anyone had experience where they would allow my son to enter Thrill Waterpark with his grandpa, without me or my hubby there? I thought about doing Hideaway Beach with the hubby and letting "the kids" (lol) go to Thrill Waterpark.

This is the first I've seen this on any of my planners. I can't really find much online or on the blog about it debuting later this year. The time is weird, it says available at noon but we show docking at 7:30am. Maybe it will update as I get closer.. this is advertised on a Western Carribean Harmony cruise I have scheduled 2026.

release dates for 2026 Itineraries
CruzOnBye replied to FOB's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Harmony is now available for Fall 2026 out of Port Canaveral. Offering 2 night options too which is kinda cool, even if to tact on to another, longer cruise. I noticed when trying to price out rooms the website isn't showing as much detail as normal. Usually when I look at Interior, for example, it will show "Promanade View" "Central Park View", etc., but for Harmony it's just "Interior" lol. So struggling a little to see what room is what, but I'll defer to my awesome MEI TA to help with that piece. Happy shopping! -
Preferred Boardwalk Balcony Location?
CruzOnBye replied to OCSC Mike's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
On Utopia we had a Boardwalk Balcony alllll the way aft, 10th floor (room#10729), and it was AMAZING! We loved watching the Aqua show from our room. Once the shows were over, you couldn't hear anything. Those balcony doors are solid and contain noise nicely. It was honestly much quieter than our Interior Central Park Room on Wonder which was stationed above a restaurant, we heard them working overnight, dishes clanging, etc., so that was not my favorite location. Again, it was an interior view and not a balcony though. But funny enough, we were above Playmakers in an interior boardwalk view in the past and never heard any noises though from that room. The only room I ever had a noise issue with was the interior Central Park. I heard Central Park balconies are great and quieter since you have rooms above and below generally. I intentionally booked another AFT balcony for upcoming cruises because we all loved that location so much. Yes, it's a walk...but that view and experience made it worth it. Good luck, hope you get an awesome room and enjoy it!! -
@OCSC Mike @AshleyDillo Thank you both for the feedback

Do you know how it works for a back-to-back cruise? We booked our first one and was just curious how that works since usually the scanner where we put the credit card says the ship name and amount of nights, right?
-
They have never taken them out of our backpack during the screenings, they can tell what they are in the machine. If you leave one in your pants pocket or something though then yes, they will have you take it out as it likely would set off the detectors.

Our son has his own C&A # but like mentioned he doesn't have his own account so there isn't anything to look at. The only thing we ever see is when we get the seapass info it shows his status the same as ours. So if he swipes his card onboard, he will get the specialty icecream/arcade discounts for our status tier. Lucky kids! LOL We tell ours all the time that we did all this "work" cruising just for him to show up years later and be a C&A free loader!

release dates for 2026 Itineraries

Does it look like Port Canaveral is done displaying what it will have through '27? Looking at Star & Utopia bookings but wasn't sure if we'd get another Oasis Class or something roll through that might appeal to us.. -
Deluxe Beverage Package/Deluxe Beverage Package plus VOOM
CruzOnBye replied to Diesel's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
For my cruise in Sept 2025, I did the same thing you did- two DBP's with Zoom package. I also priced it if I were to buy internet separately for one person, and it was going to be $130 more that way (7 night cruise), so it was cheaper to do two of the Drink/Voom packages. Because of all the changes and repricing I do every cruise, I started a spreadsheet outlining what I paid, repriced, and how much I saved, etc. I've said $400 so far between two cruises in 2025 from these BF sales I did notice that it automatically was booking the package deal for both of us, so you may have to call Royal to do it the way you're referring to...but it might not be cheaper that way? Happy saving! -
If you chose the All In when you booked the cruise, but want to update to Premium Drink package, can you do that? Or are you stuck with the Classic Drinks package? Or is best to not choose All In and just book Premium Drinks and WIFI seperate? Never cruised with Celebrity so trying to understand how these things work. I'm so used to how RCCL does things lol. Thanks for the help.

Oh my gosh!! I forgot all about this we had the internet package but kept getting dropped and then the strength was not reliable when I was connected so I kinda gave up on going on my phone this trip. It did allow me to disconnect more which was nice. But this would have been so much fun!! We ended up being in balcony 10729, so we were right on the far end and actually got to watch it from our room, with Sorrentos pizza and a couple Trulys and it was awesome Thank you again for the offer though, I’m bummed we didn’t meet up!! next time!

No, no entertainment available to book. The customer service folks say we have to wait and book onboard. Also the app hasn’t worked today for the health questionnaire section, nobody can answer the 3 questions, so we will be doing that at port. The rest of the app works except that part lol. Apparently it happened to everyone on this sailing, although some say it’s sporadic and working for some. All I know is, I’m checked in and have my passport packed and car has gas and I’m ready to go
-
FYI for those looking to buy/reprice their drink packages. Mine are showing 30% DBP for my Sept cruise. I don't see as good of sales on my 2025 cruises though which is interesting (BOGO 50%), and the Rum Day sale isn't advertised on my 2025 cruises either.

Giovannis Table for lunch - a few questions
CruzOnBye replied to JFCruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
We sail on Adventure early 2025, first time on that ship, and see they have Giovanni’s Table. We’ve only done the newer Giovanni’s Kitchen, which we love. Does “GT” have pizza? I don’t see it on the menu but it seems odd to me they wouldn’t. I was debating between Chops (also never tried) and GT but seeing the good reviews of the filet at GT I might stick with that lol, I just wish they had pizza on the menu.. If anyone has sailed on Adventure I’d love to hear the feedback of the specialty restaurants. -
Same!! It's rough right now. My hubby works for a utility company in FL and it's miserable for them guys right now. Sometimes I'll tease him on Saturday around 2pm at the hottest time of the day and be like, "wow...what a great time it would be for us to be at the outlets, or a theme park, or the beach right now". And I just receive the death glare In his kindness he would go anywhere I asked, but even though I work remote, I have zero desire to be out in the wild, especially when my truck dash reads 103 degrees. Unless I'm on a RCCL pool deck next to the bar, or at CoCoCay, I'm okay indoors lol.

Did you try turning it off and turning it on again? -
Yess! And I'm so curious about the Boozey Shave Ice they have at the Wipe Out Bar! I didn't know about it until 30 mins ago when I saw a post somewhere. But I don't know if they are included in the drink packages. Maybe not because it's not technically a beverage, but in FL...shave ice melts quick so technically it is

Ooh how were the Spare Tire items? I keep seeing reviews likening these snacks to gas station food, which I don't know what that means because you can get a mean taquito, tasty breakfast wrap, or fat sub from our beloved WaWa and 7-11's -

I was curious to know something about Utopia Railway. Usually the ship restaurants you can stop in and get their specialty drinks, like in Wonderland, Mason Jar, etc., without a dining package or reservation. I was wondering if they would do this for the Railway- have a "saloon" of sorts to just grab one of their specialty drinks or if they only had the full experience in the train available? Not a priority, but if anyone happens to notice anything about that that would be cool to know -
