I wish we had a Chick Fil-A close by.  I miss those crispy sandies SOOOO much.

The one we used to go to in VA always had a line all the way around the building (drive-thru) and sometimes it lapped itself and was almost twice around the building !!!!

Omg same in RI.  There is just one ChikFilA here…in Warwick.  Anytime of the day when you pass by the line is sooooo long!  And there are 2 windows so 2 very long lines!

My recent SNAFU with Delta had me change flights and connecting cities four times after checking my bag.  Despite that my checked luggage made it.

I looked out and saw my bag on a cart.  They scanned it and didn't like what they saw so it stayed on the cart.  Away it went.  A few minutes later the cart came back with a few more last minute bags including mine back from it's airport tour.  This time they scanned it and liked what they saw.

Delta's online bagger tracker stopped working.  My airtag told me where my bag was.  My luggage made it going west to get east and to a different final airport.

So while I still hate Delta now, I do have to give the luggage process kudus for working quite well.

@Lovetocruise2002 I'm so happy that you're finally on your way!

BTW - Next time we're traveling to the same place for a cruise, tell me what flight you're on before I book mine. 😆 Although I remember the first time we were on the same flight, there weren't problems! But then that time you had to drive to Pittsburgh, we flew DTW to MIA and you were supposed to fly DTW to FLL.

Your vacation will only get better! ❤️

That ravioli looks okay so hopefully the meal sustains and taste okay.

When they pulled us off the first time, we already ate Chick-Fil-A. Then, when they pulled us off the second time, Delta gave us $48.00 food voucher. So we had a chicken Caesar salad. That’s why when they came around with meal options earlier, we felt pretty full already and decided we would eat now and call it day earlier. We left the house at 4:30am this morning. So it’s been a while. I would love a cup of tea. But I will not drink hot water from the plane, ever.

that Ravioli? Looks pretty good and the cheese? chocolate cheese? cake looks massive

It was pea ravioli, which was pretty decent. The cake was a chocolate mousse cake and way better than any cruise dessert that I have had in a long time! I normally just take one or two bites of sweets and I ate the whole slice of cake lol. Maybe that is an indication of the day that I have had lol

I was going to say, that ravioli looked good. After the day you had, I would be drinking something stronger than tea😂

A Long Island Iced Tea sounds like it's in order.

If I drank that sort of tea after the day it’s been, I will pass out in 5 seconds. Lol

I'm soooooo happy for you. It was a wild ride, literally with all the stops and starts but you are at your destination and a cruise is in sight.

It was crazy! And yes, we are here now so that is all that is important!

I wanted to come back with the room pics. Unfortunately, we did not get here until after dark. The room pics would have looked much better in the daylight. This hotel is fantastic….if it’s your scene.

I am reminded of a YouTube video I watched a while back of a review on the Margaritaville cruise. It was coming from a YouTuber who was a seasoned cruiser of many lines, and he commented that his sailing on Margaritaville was missing a few touches that he is used to on other lines. That is exactly how I feel about this property here in Orlando.

We are booked in a Deluxe King One Bedroom suite. It’s huge! Pricing is almost half the price of the Conrad or Swan Reserve (a property that I really liked). Despite this room and property being huge, bright, and modern, it’s missing some of the touches I would expect from this sort of property. Don’t get me wrong, if you stay here, you will probably be quite happy here. It’s just not my scene. Truthfully, I think the lack of a kettle did it 😂

I skipped over where you were staying in your intro (nothing personal of course but since hotels aren't part of my cruise world, I see the nice room pics but don't pay close attention).

Margaritaville is not very far from me at all. I've only driven by it but looks very nice!

Thinking about heading to the Orlando outlets and seeing where that takes us.

Only coming to say hi to you could make me go near that place in this heat, lol.

Same!! It's rough right now. My hubby works for a utility company in FL and it's miserable for them guys right now. Sometimes I'll tease him on Saturday around 2pm at the hottest time of the day and be like, "wow...what a great time it would be for us to be at the outlets, or a theme park, or the beach right now". And I just receive the death glare 🤣 In his kindness he would go anywhere I asked, but even though I work remote, I have zero desire to be out in the wild, especially when my truck dash reads 103 degrees. Unless I'm on a RCCL pool deck next to the bar, or at CoCoCay, I'm okay indoors lol.

That's me, 100%. The only reason I tolerate the heat at CocoCay or a Mexican beach club is because of the included drinks/food and even then I need shade and occasional dips in a pool.

At home... I'll stick to a/c and my living room couch.

Dunno how they do it. I have a friend who does construction and swears he loves the heat. I think he's nuts.

@OCSC Mike and @CruzOnBye, it’s most definitely hot here. But at the outlets it’s ok because you’re constantly in/out of stores. But I would not want to be out there consistently. The theme parks would be killer right now. But the sun still does not feel as strong here as in Italy two weeks ago. It’s more humid here, but that sun was different in Italy.
