  1. No way that will happen again! And if anything does happen while in London, I've got an amazing cousin (former Canadian) who could help you!
  2. It was great meeting all of you and getting a chance to spend time with my former coworker @Lovetocruise2002 and her family. We had a fantastic trip and thoroughly enjoyed our Star Class experience. While my husband Derek (who wasn't in the trip) is wonderful, I'm missing genie Derick!
  3. Our wifi is quite sporadic in our ATS, so I haven't been posting as much as I had hoped for. Yesterday we didn't get off of the ship but spent most of the day on the suite sun deck where it was nice and quiet. We came back to our deck for sailaway and saw some dolphins, but unfortunately I wasn't quick enough with the camera to get a picture. We had dinner at Giovanni's, and ended up with a wonderful server. I think maybe they were making up for the terrible service that @tiny260received because we had people checking in on us a few times to see how things were and if we needed anything else. Today we booked a cabana at Labadee and we're looking forward to some swimming and relaxing.
  4. @Lovetocruise2002 Your luggage is having an adventure of its own! We definitely got soaked! I don't know what happened but all of a sudden we saw a gush of water coming straight for us! #geniewaswrong #soakingwet
  5. @NeesaWe had lots of fun with you and your family! I would say it was more Natali than me!
  6. Last night we had dinner at Izumi and we really enjoyed it. The "She's A Geisha" cocktail was so delicious that I had two. For appetizers we had the pork gyoza dumplings and the firecracker shrimp spring rolls. For dinner, two of us shared the Izumi spider roll, spicy crispy shrimp roll and the truffled creamy lobster tempura roll (our favourite out of the three). My mom had the Yaki upon with shrimp and she really liked it. For dessert we chose the mochi ice cream and the chocolate lava cake (it was more of a regular chocolate cake). We said we will try to make it back again for lunch.
  7. Well the dreary weather in Nassau didn't stop us from our private jeep tour with Clamtram. Genie Derick met us at 8:45 am and escorted us to the gangway. We then fought the chilly wind and made our way to our meeting point - The Bearded Clam Sports Bar. I've taken this trip before and really enjoyed it. The tour guide, Christine, is very informative and knowledgeable about the history of Nassau. At 9:30 am, Christine picked us up and we were off! Unfortunately we had to keep the jeep top up. We had the opportunity to tour the island, seeing and stopping at different places of interest, including two beaches (that are more familiar to the locals). The one spot we went to was off one of the main roads, and this is where we had our lunch of BBQ chicken, mac & cheese, beans and rice, plantain and Bahama Mama's. After lunch we made our way back to the port and arrived back by 1:30 pm. Despite it being colder and windier than we would have liked, we still had a great day!
  8. We arrived to the port and after being dropped off at the Star Class check in, it was wonderful to see @Lovetocruise2002and her family! ❤ We checked in and then our genie Derick came to meet us and bring us to our home for the week - an ATS on deck 9. Derick had some birthday signs and a cake waiting for my mom who turns 80 years young in June. This cruise is the beginning of her birthday festivities. At 12:30 we went to Playmakers to meet up with others in the #MajorStarClassTakeOver. I had the poke nachos and the goal post margarita (minus the jalapeño). Both were delicious. After lunch, we took my friend on a tour of the ship since she's an Oasis rookie. Dinner for us was also at Coastal Kitchen. All three of us had the filet and thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, two of us had the poached pear with ice cream and the other had the royale chocolate cake. We ended the night watching the headliner Jesse Hamilton. He played Simba in Lion King and has a fantastic voice. Tomorrow we're doing a private tour in Nassau with Clamtram.
  9. Well it looks like @Lovetocruise2002 and family are on their way! ❤
  10. @Lovetocruise2002is living out Trains, Planes, and Automobiles! Looking forward to having a drink with you tomorrow! ❤ Safe travels!
  11. Thanks [email protected] for letting me know when this sailing came out! We got a great deal on an ATS! We're looking forward to our first star class cruise with our genie Derick. There's three of us traveling tomorrow from DTW to MIA - myself, my mom, and a friend of mine. After receiving our negative tests at 4 pm this afternoon, we are really excited now!
  12. I am intently following along! We are on the #marjostarclasstakeover in ATS 9330 and Derick has also been assigned as our genie.
  13. Thank you for sharing the link. I'm just wondering how far in advance the appointments are open to schedule. I tried to book for March 20, but it it is saying No Time Available.
  14. Thanks for the information. Did you book the testing ahead of time at the airport?
  15. I could have told you all about it but we never made it on the Edge for our March 2019 cruise. #oasisMarch2022starclass
  16. I guess I'm just really looking forward to that one! The Edge in March will do for NOW ?
  17. @Lovetocruise2002 Did you start a blog already for our sailing in 2022 and I missed it??? ?
