Wait they stopped including soda with JR? I knew the new price was $18, not worth it unless you can eat multiple burgers and fries, but I thought their sodas were still included. 

This is the same suite @Neesa stayed in on Adventure, right? her husband and daughter were playing the piano on the regular.......any musical genes for the flowrider widow?

As we walk around, he has random memories that pop up. And he takes all the pics so he remembers.

Nah, I cannot book anymore cruises for now because I am going back to work and we are already fully booked. Also, probably no new Effy this time. Not really anything I need. But I did get two new pairs of Tory Burch shoes yesterday 🙂

I don’t know about the soda but I definitely know they said it excluded the milkshakes and malts. And yes, this is same room @Neesa had back in June. And yes, I’ve been playing the piano since I was 7, and both my kids play too. We have two pianos at home.

Since sail away, we have done a whole lot of nothing and it’s great! 

Dinner was at Giovanni’s tonight. I like the colour scheme in this Giovanni’s compared to the ones on Oasis and Allure. We have the UDP this sailing. I thought the food was fantastic tonight. Way better than the last few times we have gone to Giovanni’s on Oasis and Allure.

I also think Carl tipped them off about it being our anniversary. We thought we had escaped without them knowing.

I mean... isn't that what cruising is about? Doing a whole of lot nothing, just enjoying the ocean!

That food looks so good! Not really digging the carpet or the chairs though - but that's just me... looks a bit... 1990's....2000's 😛 But then again... Adventure was launched in 1998... so I guess that's probably why

I actually don’t know when they put in this Giovanni’s. That would be a better question for @twangster. I still prefer this decor over the drab brown tones on Oasis and Allure though.

In this blog post from 2014 @Matt talks about Portofino's being phased out and Giovanni's Table being the new kid on the block.

Thanks, I just assume they were/are on every ship in the fleet except Wonder last week. 😠

It's fine though. I've moved on to dry dock, dealing with real life, and looking forward to Utopia next year.

Tentatively optimistic about the Utopia WJ, lol. I'm ignoring the fancy inaugural seafood/steak, of course, but I've seen a cook-to-order station at lunch and @AshleyDillo mentioned a funnel cake station one night. We may return to our non-MDR ways if they have cook-to-order and more unique stuff than Wonder did for dinner.

Currently June 2, 2025, July 11, 2025, & March 13, 2026... all B2B's.

March 2025 is our last Wonder booked (the one with a great price that I'm likely cancelling). We would have missed you anyway though. My wife's spring break is the week after yours in 2025.

Yay! I am so happy you made it here! I wish you and Lisa were here too! I will pass on the advice to him. He still says the tip you gave him about touching the water to regain his balance is one of the most helpful things ever. Only 3 people in advance session this morning. He was loving it!

This is why I think it was a mistake only putting 1 flowrider on Wonder and Icon. I’m going on both in a few weeks so I will see, but I feel there isn’t as much advanced time as on the Oasis ships with 2 that can keep the boogie boarders on the other side.

Hubby said he actually doesn’t feel like he gets more time on the ships with 2 FlowRiders. He said the only difference he feels is that the ships with 2, you don’t have to mix the boogie board people. But the ships with 2 have straight up more people, and they fill their time with mixed wave. Advance stand up time is pretty much the same regardless of 1 or 2 FlowRiders. Hope that makes sense.
