It's B2B with a Star Class sailing and she refused to pay the Star Class pricing for the 2 nighter and booked the balcony right next door to the aquatheater suite we have for the second leg. AshleyDillo Posted March 29 Author Report Share Posted March 29 With a 5am wake up call yesterday and the travel day, after I closed down the Windjammer for second dinner I went back to the room. Nothing interesting was on the planner for the evening..no reason to spend money in the casino when the next casino year starts April 1. Today is a sea day. They have brunch in the MDR starting at 8:30 until 12:30. Top Tier is 10:30 and then Cheers with an Officer is at 11:45. I always like to go to that to listen to the D-plussers try to out D+ each other. Maybe I will come back with some stories. Then I ordered the filet medium rare. The cheap wine helps me believe. The char actually is great and there's tons of flavor though so I can overlook the lack of red in the meat when there's red in my glass. Internet speeds have been amazing which is great for me as I have to use a VPN. Handcuff lady is my dinner BFF. She's a casino cruiser as well and said she closed down the casino last night at 2am. The other 2 solos at our big 8 person table have bonded. I don't think I remember names but one lady is from Alaska and the other is a guy that likes to scuba dive. Alaska is quite chatty. They went to the solos and singles meet up this afternoon and made friends that they want to invite to join our table. Handcuff lady is not the biggest fan of chatty Alaska. Alaska is one of those that has a story about everything. Handcuff lady told me she is going to try to come up with the most outrageous thing she has ever done to see if Alaska can one up it. I can not wait. Alaska also didn't like the butternut squash soup so that had the servers and head waiter and maitre'd hover at our table for the rest of the evening. Never been in a pool either but I've occasionally spent some time in a Solarium stew pot when not crowded (like staying on the ship during a port day). I don't have an account but I use my wife's to join our cruise groups... which are largely a train wreck, IMO. On the plus side, we did find a nice couple to split a cab to Nachi Cocom with in October so I saved $10... made it totally worth it!
