need2cruz
If you're full at the end of the main course, can you ask for your dessert in a to go container to take back to your cabin? Has anyone ever done this?
SpeedNoodles
You absolutely can!!!!!! They like that better than not giving you dessert (they really hate not giving you dessert, lol). HeWhoWaits
Don't expect a "to-go container" like you would get at a restaurant. You're most likely to get a plate with a cover - the way they bring the food from the kitchen to the table during the meal (or like a room service delivery). You can just leave the plate and cover in your stateroom when finished and your steward will remove them when they clean. DJnKy
Yes you can, but be careful. Your waiter if he knows you like something is likely to send double WAAAYTOOO, BeachGal, KJones and 2 others

Pooch
I vaguely remember a small fridge full of desserts on our last cruise. Made for some lovely late nights on the balcony watching the stars…… and stuffing my face! BeachGal, SPS, RWDW1204 and 1 other 3

loki007
we always grab our kids deserts if we are lucky enough to have a date night at Chops! As other posters have mentioned they will basically wrap up 1 of everything
CrimsonCruiser
We've done it and actually - we had dinner at Coastal Kitchen one night but were planning to go from there to a show and we wouldn't have had enough time to drop the food off in our room between dinner and the show. So my mom asked if we could come back after the show to pick up the desserts of our choice and they said yes! In fact, we actually ended up in there after they were done taking guests (but still serving a few last minute patrons) and they were quite kind in stocking us up with desserts. teddy and kadmgs
Jolly Ogre
We always split a desert at dinner and then take one to go to have after the shows for a late night snack to go with a slice from Sorento's. Boardgamer
I've got the UDP for my next cruise but I really love their Mississippi Mud Pie and was planning on going just for that, I'm going to have to ask to get some to go then.
