J_Keeble
I'm looking at doing a southern Caribbean in late 2019. I know that freedom goes from San Juan with some great itinerys. I'm wondering if there are any from Florida area that go down south?
arebee
If so, it would most likely be from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Wish they would go further from Orlando and Tampa. bhageerah and coneyraven 1
melski94
Typically Southern Caribbean leaves from San Juan. A quick search shows only Freedom going to the Southern Caribbean in late 2019.
twangster
Navigator has often done the 9 night ABC run from FL but it looks like she is stuck doing 3/4 night cruises in 2019. J_Keeble
Michael Vitale
I’m doing southern carib out of San Juan in 2 weeks on Jewel. 5 ports. Can’t wait. Digmenow, bcarney and J_Keeble 2

We're right behind you on the 4th of March out of San Juan as well. I'm looking for any and all information (uploaded Cruise Compasses? hint hint) about excursions, closed sites (specifically Blackbeard's castle in St. Thomas), menus, shows, etc. Have a blast! JLMoran
I saw some 9- and 11-night Southern Caribbean itineraries out of Florida, mainly on Serenade plus a couple on Adventure and Navigator, in early 2019 (Jan to May), but nothing in late 2019. jticarruthers
My favorite ship does an 8 night southern out of Miami ... it is not an RCI ship though. Carnival Horizon I think is doing the run in 2019 down to ABC.
Hutcherl
I so want to do a sailing that includes the ABC islands!! The cost of the flight to Puerto Rico has prevented me from taking it. Actually, had it booked for June ‘18 on Freedom but switched to Oasis because flight was less than half. Not too bad of a trade off, I guess. I’ll eventually get there when my cruise window isn’t restricted to June-August peak months. Only about 10 years from now!!

It's not exactly the ABC islands but it's still S.Caribbean and it goes Aruba, St.Lucia, St.Kitts, Barbados etc. So it would still be similar... Michael Vitale
Flights to San Juan !! Tell me about it !! Cost me almost $1300 for 2. Not sure I would’ve booked this cruise had I known this ahead of time. ?

Not sure I would’ve booked this cruise had I known this ahead of time. ? San Juan has always been an expensive destination to fly into. In general flight costs are higher in 2018 due to speculation of increasing fuel costs that are expected. I did see some decent prices on Air2Sea for my May Adventure repo cruise. Just over $400 per person on Delta and cheaper than Delta was charging on their own website.
Digmenow
Our nonstop Southwest flights out of BWI to SJU dropped from $303 pp/rt to $200 pp/rt on sale last week. My wife gets emails from Southwest that notify her of sales and when she checked, we were pleasantly surprised with the C-note savings for each of us. That's over $500 for our family group. Maybe now we can afford to kiss a dolphin after all! LetsTryThisPlace, Boston Babe, JLMoran and 1 other 2
Michael Vitale
Wow that’s an incredible deal. I never seem to get any deals when I fly. I always wind up paying top dollar ?
Digmenow
Well, I probably misspoke a bit. Southwest doesn't give the cash back but it goes as a credit toward future SW flights. We fly enough for various reasons that it will be spent before the end of the year.

Port stops: St Maarten, Antigua, Barbados, Aruba and Curacao. Check it out! J_Keeble
DunkelBierJay
Ive been tracking Southwest and JetBlue flights from Nashville to San Juan and it has consistently ranged between $178 US and $183 US one way. If you can price out a connection through a second tier airport like Nashville, Fort Lauderdale or Tampa, that takes international flights, you might save a little cost. HAA! I would absolutely love to, but there's no way I'll be able to convince husband of that one. We have a 9 night on Anthem planned for next 2019, so that cuts in to quite a bit of our time off. Mrs. RoyalMoyal
For San Juan flights: Check Air2Sea, we flew to San Juan for Easter 2017 cruise for 380.00 per person from Elmira, NY - certainly not an inexpensive place to fly from. It was on Delta, and would have been double that if I had booked the 4 seats directly with Delta.
