We will have to book an inside state room across the hall for the teenager since the suite only sleeps 4. Just wondering if the teenager in the inside cabin will receive the perks of the rest of the family that come with the suite. does that make sense? Otherwise, what stops a family reunion from booking one suite and 10 interior rooms and everyone getting suite perks? The cabin has to have a pax booked in it and one person cannot be booked in multiple rooms. So, you can pay for an extra room, have a person be a no show but that's a lot of work as the cabin may not be located near the suite. The most important thing is to figure out if the cost is worth it. On Adventure, the suite perks are minimal. If you cannot get a 2br GS, then maybe look at getting two balconies and the Key. I actually read this as having two people registered for the inside cabin, then having one of them be a no show. Your suitcases will fit under the beds. Some people never bother to unpack, they just slide the suitcase out, get what they need, and slide back under. If you really think you'll need more room for your stuff, please consider that you may be planning to bring way too much stuff! There is a lot of storage in 1 bedroom GS. Big closets and drawers and shelves everywhere. With some smart unpacking (use packing cubes in drawers so undies don't get mixed, ask for extra hangers so you can hang as much as possible, bring magnetic hooks to hang hats and bags on the walls instead of in closets, maybe leave lesser worn shoes (ie water or formal nigh shoes) in the suitcase and pull them out only when needed, then toss them back in at the end, etc)I can't imagine everyone not having enough space for things (and I overpack) Neesa 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

From Royal's perspective every passenger on board is an opportunity for more onboard revenue. A substantial amount of revenue comes from onboard spend. They have no incentive to have people book empty cabins for storage. They would much rather have a completely different person book that cabin and then they have another wallet on board to spend money, play in the casino, pay daily service fees, etc. So there is no mechanism to book an empty cabin for storage without putting a named passenger in that cabin and if that passenger doesn't show up, you would not have access to that cabin. With a no show it would go into an "available" status that they could move another guest into that cabin if that other guest had an issue with their first cabin. Sometimes two cabins each with 2 or 3 guests costs less than one suite with 4 plus an additional cabin for 1 where you will have to pay the double occupancy price. If they are in your room while you order room service, I don't believe there are any caps on how much you can order at a time. So you can get something for everyone if you want. You may run into plate limits on the MDR dinner option but idk for sure since, if you had just gone down to the MDR you could get multiple entrees. Nobody is going to police into whose mouth the food goes whether that be a caregiver, a newly met stranger or the person who placed the order.
