Vancity Cruiser
Lost in all the excitement of a Royal ship actually sailing in North America again is the fact they are planning to do overnight stays in Coco Cay!! How awesome is that!! WAAAYTOOO, cruisellama, Rene Desmarais and 2 others 2 1
smokeybandit
I wonder if they'll have late night festivities on the island emmef
twangster
It will be interesting to see how they operate the island overnight. Will there be a curfew when guests needs to be on board? I could see a lot of people having consumed a lot of a favored drink such as Tex on the Beach, trying to live out that drink, with ... on the beach. teddy, Landry_TX, Leroyr55 and 3 others
Matt
I'm not certain if they are doing overnights, or just leaving at night and coming back in the morning. It's clear it will be two days in a row, but by leaving at night, they can open casino and shops. Unless Bahamas gives them special permission while in port. How awesome is that!! I was under the impression that they have done an overnight stay at CocoCay in the past. I know they have done cruises with 2 "days" at CocoCay so maybe they will leave and come back the following day. I just want to do my first day at CocoCay. I agree, an overnight stay at CocoCay does sound awesome. I might even stay out late for that experience. WAAAYTOOO

I think with what is going on the Bahamas would love to give special permission and get a slice of the gambling revenue
smokeybandit
The FAQ just says two consecutive days. WAAAYTOOO
Landry_TX
Does this imply an overnight at Coco Cay for Adventure too? “And keep the vacation vibes going strong long after dark.”

twangster
A longggg time ago on a DCL cruise the cast at Castaway Cay told me the bugs are ferocious at night. I don't know if that is seasonal or if it's at a certain time of the night or if that was a cyclic thing a couple decades ago, or if it is unique to that island. smokeybandit
Coco beach club is over 2x as expensive for day1 than day
Rene Desmarais
My family of 4 have a cruise booked out of Miami to Bahamas/Coco Cay for Feb 10. All nighter at Coco Cay would be awesome my gut feeling - the trip will be cancelled, because we were to sail on Navigator.
JLMoran
I'm trying to understand how the Vision cruise is an overnight at Perfect Day, but the schedule shows just one day with Sea Day after that. Just a really late night at Perfect Day, and departing around 6 AM? A half-day before departure, maybe noon all-aboard?

I don't mind, really. We just plan on lounging / making it a beach day anyway, so having a second day doesn't bring any value for us. Cathy might decide last minute to get a ticket to the water park, but that would be it.
smokeybandit
Of course now I'm back home ready to book the Coco Beach Pass, and Day 2 at Coco Cay is now $160pp, not 70.

Priscilla
Does RC offer cruises that gives you two days in Coco Cay that leaves Port Canaveral in June or July 2023?

I don't believe so. However, we made our own itinerary out of PC to do this and are leaving in 12 days by doing a B2B 3-night and 4-night. We didn't love the 7-night itineraries this summer and were on Harmony already in early June so we figured let's go to Cococay twice b/c we love it. (There were also a few other factors like a good TA friends & family price, getting to try Playmakers for the first time, going back on Freedom class for the first time in a while, etc.) Just an idea. teddy, Neesa and KristiZ
