I was thinking of some of my favorite old shows that should have a reunion cruise I would enjoy, but then realized that many of the cast members are dead.

Those who look at your ID see all forms and types from all over the world. They are just comparing your happy face to the one on the ID and probably don't even know where the expiration date is, or care. And If the Trooper that stops you while rushing to the port accepts your paper renewal you should have no problem there

I think a lot of us got a little roused up when we saw that in our inboxes!

Your stateroom attendant will leave at least one gratuity envelope in your room towards the end of the cruise and you can get additional at guest services.
That would be my experience too.

Interesting options. I'm sure there will be plenty of interest. But I'll pass.

Crowded at times? Yes. Have I never found seats within 2-3 minutes of looking? No.

Not that much different than what you might find in a hotel room. I have slept well on every cruise.

Probably not the best idea, but we put ours on in the shower! We like the spray too, and that seemed like the best option to keep it contained. Only downside is it took a while to air out the scent.
Same here. And we thought we were clever

I am definitely NOT an early riser, but considering how precious time on an RC ship is, I make myself get up early and
just walk around. Things are nice and slow in the morning, so you can amble about and see the artwork and soak in
the beauty of these mammoth beasts of the sea.
I never do the inside shows. IMO, that is time that I could be using around the ship. I don't nap, either. I want to
enjoy every single second, as I take the "this could be my last cruise ever" POV.
I'm thinking that all of us seek out a cruise strategy that best serves their allotted time, finances and unique personal tastes. Looks like you have found yours.

I've got more pictures from the cruise on my blog if anyone is interested: https://www.oldmanjim.com/
I spent most of this morning going through your pictures. Fantastic. Well done. Great eye! Thanks.

Don't miss the pier runners. It's an additional show that is complimentary.

I'll stick with the MDR too. I used to sail with Disney and everybody was saying "Oh, you must go to Palo's!.....Palo's is well worth the price, trust me!.....Palo's must be experienced!", etc, etc. (Mainly from the Disney Suite Snobs who lowered themselves to speak with me). You would think it was going to be one of the finest meals you'd ever have. So I tried it. Mistake. It was Olive Garden with nicer napkins. Cost me $120.00 with a couple drinks for 2 of us. And that was years ago. Plus I was required to wear a tie. Not gonna fall for that kind of hype again.

Be kind to bartenders. Last cruise I was at the Sky Bar settling down for the International Belly Flop Championship. Ordered a Hurricane. Bartender was Hugh. He made the standard 2 shots of rum, one dark, one light followed by a lot of juice and ice.. Gave him a 2 dollar bill. He smiled. Next one he let the shot cups overflow a little into the glass. Gave him a dollar. Third drink he just poured in rum glug, glug, glug. Alcohol to juice now at 50/50. Another buck for Hugh. Last one (#4) he glug glugs the well rums then goes into the fridge and pulls out a bottle of Kraken and gives me a nice dose of that. Hardly any room for juice, just a splash fits in. Hugh gets another 2. I'm hammered by now and I ask Hugh to marry me before leaving. Wife has cut me off by now.
Did I say be kind to bartenders?
