jbrinkm
White night & formal night table pictures. I have a funny smile in the white night pic because the lady at the next table took it and didn't really tell us when, so I got smile fatigue. And my son's eyes are closed for the same reason. jbrinkm
We've been missing the Boardwalk Donuts so I got room service breakfast yesterday before our excursion and ordered a chocolate donut @OCSC Mike! This was the best donut I've ever had on a cruise ship. It was fresh, soft and still a little warm but with that harder chocolate on top. Delish!! Although I wouldn't have used the room service if I had gotten Jamaican time correct. Oh, @Ampurp85 , I think you like these too? jbrinkm
My parents left their Freestyle cups on the MDR table at lunch and guest services replaced them for free! I thought that was a really nice gesture. We tried to track them down but with no luck. We came across a small vessel this morning that didn't respond to hails. So we slowed, stopped, turned around came back to it, and sent an emergency craft over. Turns out it was just a loose boat that had floated to here with no one aboard. I've smelled a bad sewer smell twice, briefly. The weather is lovely. Hot, yes, but in the shade, with a bit of breeze, just amazing to sit out on my balcony and type this and watch + listen to the water. This is the furthest south I've ever been and I'm glad it is March rather than April. Ampurp85, Cactus527, SweetPea and 8 others 8
Neesa
Re: Smoking on balcony, our Wonder sailing our cabin was next to the accessible cabin. Marijuana permeated the upstairs bathroom, forget the balcony. Some days in the beginning were intolerable. Caveat, I know this is a big no no but they indeed needed that cabin, I felt maybe they used it for pain. It slowed down as the week went on, but my allergies detest smoke of any kind, ugh that sailing! A tiny part of me thinks I should give Wonder another try, a bigger part is like, no I'm good. Thanks for sharing the photos, you look so happy, so blessed. You'd think since I like to eat so much and try different things it wouldn't be a problem to try most of the free offerings but I get stuck in my head that I prefer one to another (like danish to donuts) instead of going through the spread and at least tasting everything I might like once (I kept ignoring the muffins which were pretty good too). I think you should jump on the June 2nd or July 14th sailing this summer (I know you can't but still). I can't help you while you're in the suite neighborhood but I swear my wife and I just don't experience the shenanigans everyone else seems to. We definitely lean toward not being bothered by stuff unless it significantly impacts our enjoyment, but (knock on wood), that stuff rarely happens on our cruises. jbrinkm
I got these adorable ducks but never printed tags so I'm about to handwrite something and use little clear hairbands to attach them. My husband had to do some work today so he parked himself in the upper deck of Dazzles where he was in air conditioning but could still see out of a window (he likes to have a full table when he's working.) He mentioned at lunch that he was having trouble finding a spot and my daughter took it as a personal challenge to find him somewhere. jbrinkm
I saw the Stowaway Piano player! I heard singing (Sweet Caroline) and couldn't figure out why that was happening in the WJ but then I saw the bottom of the piano in the elevator. I ran around to try to see better but he didn't stop on 15, went directly to 14. My son and I did the Zipline. He finished first and went to get ice cream, so I decided to take the slide back down to get to the room. jbrinkm
Dinner was good! Taste of UK, which we didn't have last year. The only thing my family didn't like was the vegan ice cream sundae which my husband & son didn't realize was vegan. My kids started playing a game like 20 questions during dinner but broader and eventually everyone started guessing and some were ridiculous or we would keep guessing the same thing, forgetting we'd already said it, getting more and more out there with our guesses. It took us about 200 tries to get lasagne. I said lettuce 6 times, my husband kept saying salt. Then our waiter got involved and asked us "What is the only room in the world with no doors?" (Let's see if any of you can get it!) 3 hours ago, asquared17 said: with magnetic hooks to hold them down I'm feeling dumb for not realizing that the outside is also metal but I also have those awesome super strong clips you recommended and we've clipped a few things to the back of the chairs (which are SO much nicer than the deck chairs on Allure) asquared17, SweetPea, PPPJJ-GCVAB and 1 other

jbrinkm
Quick summary of the day since it is already late and we have another dive tomorrow morning. I'll try to expand later. We took the public bus to the Hyatt where we picked up our rental car (Top Drive, very good experience with them). My parents decided to just stay there for the beach, the casino and the restaurant. The bus and rental car took a little longer than expected (we couldn't find the bus stop right away) and also room service came 15 minutes later than the window. Since we met our dive guide 15 minutes late so just did a 1 tank dive instead of 2. Which was fine since we hadn't done anything since October so it was a good refresher for us. I've heard Curacao has better diving but Aruba was pretty nice! Warm, clear water, lots of colorful fish, a spiny lobster and a moray eel. Pictures are all on the go pro so none yet.
