CruisinForABruisin 396
Does anyone know if the Allure ended up being revamped? If so, what is going to be added? I know it was delayed, and don't want to book it if nothing special was added, as we've sailed it before.
Spang1974 107
Nobody know at this point in time. She is still in dry dock. i think the general consensus is she is only having maintenance and certifications done.
Andrew72681 1,760
They’ve stated it will stay technical. She’s more than halfway through now and no slides or anything have been spotted so it’s a pretty safe bet to trust them.
CruisinForABruisin 396
Thanks for the input, looks like we'll pass on the deals we were offered.
Andrew72681 1,760
@Matt just posted a story confirm the indefinite postponement of the amplification program. So no need to wonder now. Ogilthorpe

Have you been on her before? If not, you may want to reconsider. I've been on her four times and look forward to going back. The Allure is one he ck of a ship! CruisinForABruisin 396
We have, and we've done the same itinerary 2 years in a row haha. If our Cuba trip hadn't gotten rerouted to western caribbean last year, doing this itinerary this year wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately all of the eastern caribbean discounts we were offered are sold out for the dates we can do.
CruisinForABruisin 396
And just got the symphony sailing I wanted, due to someone canceling right at that very moment. Couldn't have worked out better haha.
Cile 47
We book 2 cruises back to back with Allure of the Seas for next May. If they are not going to do amplification then they will need to lower prices. When I book I was hoping it will be almost like new ship?
GNW 3
Does RC offers any compensation if the Allure not going to do amplifications. As I booked the cruise because of all the new facilities that they advertised.

Jason12 194
I’m still happy to go in November not bothered really as the ship is just like new anyways, people need to give their head a wobble if they as asking for money back etc...just cancel and book something else with slides on... Ampurp85 1,190
I'm not on Allure until Oct 21'......don't care about slides but was hoping she would get the new restaurants. Hopefully when they start back cruising after Sept, they will make enough revenue to amp her before then. If not it's no big deal, having a 2BR GS makes it worthwhile. From what I understand, RC haven’t cancel our cruise but just not going to do amplification. Can we get the 100% refund from RC? Thank you

They haven’t announced anything, but you if booked before August 1st are already covered by cruise with confidence and can get an FCC or lift and shift to a future date. SpeedNoodles 4,655
I'm on Allure Jan 2022 (well, not anymore). Lift and Shift can't even be an option.

No, but since they first put out the rates for that far out I’d guess there wasn’t a lot of movement in pricing. So you could cancel, get the deposit as a FCC and use it for another sailing. Ron Rico 33
I'm on Allure May 2021. Was hoping for slides, but prefer Sabor to Playmakers, so chips and salsa, here I come!

I'd have to get a Jr Suite on Liberty, and then I could upgrade to a Grand Suite and pay the same price I had for the Allure JS. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..... Oh shoot, I can't Lift and Shift to the same date. DANGIT!!!
Ampurp85 1,190
@SpeedNoodles Maybe by then they will have amped the ship. @WAAAYTOOO Mines is the 31st of October but I have a S2S with Indy Nov 8th WAAAYTOOO

Ampurp85 1,190
@SpeedNoodles I just realized this is why my L&S for Nov didn't go through. There are now no Allure itineraries after my 21' Halloween cruise. I would say 100% get the refund. I only took one FCC, for a cruise I choose to cancel, I cannot imagine the hassle of dealing with 5 or 6 FCCs and trying to apply them properly. SpeedNoodles

The only positive for her is that it’s an itinerary that most likely only has a deposit on it now.
