I'm cruising on Allure in January 2020. When is the key available for purchase?
21 minutes ago, Russr said:I have a cruise on Adventure of the seas coming up.(243 days)Is the Key available on this ship and if so when should I start seeing it in cruise planner. Thanks in advance
I messaged Royal about this in May and was told that the Key is not loaded into the Cruise Planner until at least 9 months before the sail date. @tchampion, call them if you still haven't seen it. @Russr, check your cruise planner daily...once they list it, selling out quickly is a possibility. I sail about a month after you and I'm already checking.
Happy sailing!

Hello @foxrunner. Don't have answers for all questions, but here are my thoughts on some.
Yes, there are several options for complimentary breakfast. For Windjammer (I have been on other ships and I am assuming it's the same for Allure) keep in mind that they will serve you from a menu AND they also have a buffet set up in the center. So you are sure to get something to suit everyone's taste.
Windjammer's hours will be posted there and also listed on the Cruise Compass that be left in your cabin each night. Compare their opening time with your excursion meet time and plan accordingly.
We dined at 150 Central Park (on Symphony and not a holiday) and it was one of the best restaurants we've been in on both land and sea. Highly recommend.
We had the Key on Symphony and loved it. If you were planning on purchasing the Voom internet package anyway, then the Key is that much more worthwhile. It was not advertised, but on Symphony they had an added Key benefit of not having to scan the pool towels in and out. We bypassed a lot of lines with that and didn't have to worry about any erroneous towel charges. The debarkation breakfast you mentioned was FABULOUS. For debarkation, they escort you off with the suite and star class passengers, directly to a separate luggage area. And, of course, the reserved seating at the shows are great...don't have wait 1/2 hour on line.
@JohnK6404 sailed Allure with the Key in May. Hopefully he will chime in with other information specific to that ship.
Happy sailing.

St. Kitts was a challenge for us...I'd love advice on that.
Jane and all. I have recommended Thenford Grey Tours in St Kitts many times and everyone has loved them. He is highly rated (5 stars on Trip Advisor and touted on many message boards) and has several types of tours to choose from. We did the Grand Tour of St. Kitts. No matter which you choose. You will NOT be disappointed.
My avatar is from one of the spots he took us...it's where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea.
He was born and raised in St Kitts and has more knowledge of his home than I've ever seen and one of the nicest gentlemen we have ever net. If you happen to get a different tour guide, you'll still be fine..they are family.
@Suma. This is a third party company so not to be booked through Royal, but they will definitely get you back to the ship with time to spare.

On Symphony, The Key and Suites and Pinnacle reserved seating is up on the balcony (Deck 5) not on the raised level behind the sound booth.
We really liked those seats..especially for the Flight show.

This has got to be one of the worst locations for muster in the summer! It is so awful, hot, and smelly!
Oh geez. In May our muster was at a table for 4 in Cafe Promenade. See, non-suite life has it's advantages!

spray to "bless" my cabin
Love it. Another time to use them is after looking at one of the dirtiest things anywhere...the menu.
I carry and use this...FYI, it's 71 percent ethyl alcohol whereas the Purell wipes are 62% (and their liquid 70%).

I usually make this my own surf n' turf as there is usually a beef specialty on the menu too on lobster night.
13 minutes ago, BunnyHutt said:Lobster was on the MDR menu on the last night of my 5-night Majesty cruise earlier this month. Like a PP stated, I combined with the (no-upcharge) steak for my own “free” surf and turf.

The top of the bottle is a functional bell...yes? no?
I do not know--no bell mentioned--they talk in detail about the decanter, but no mention of a bell that I saw. Here is the rest of the description that I put part of before (from this website
It represents a collaborative effort to produce the "Best of the Best" from Mexico: the best Tequila presented in a stunning, hand-crafted decanter. Only 100 bottles have been produced. Of which, 50 will be available in the U.S. market starting in May, 2007.
According to Mr. Lomeli, the founder and master distiller, there are Five elements that make Tequila ULTRA so exceptional: 1. Hand-selection of the highest quality Weber Blue Agaves that are aged to perfection for 9 years, 2. Slow cooking of the Agave Pinas for 48 hours in brick ovens, 3. Fermentation with a special, proprietary yeast strain created specifically for ULTRA, 4. A keen, watchful eye over each step in the distillation process; including a very liberal trimming of the "heads and tails" of the distillate to ensure the highest quality Tequila, 5. Using only the highest quality, hand-selected sherry wood casks to produce exceptional taste, perfect balance and robust body. The care taken in producing Clase Azul ULTRA reveals itself in a sublime tasting experience. Clase Azul ULTRA gives us exquisite complexity in its aromas, while tantalizing the palate with its robust body and rich flavors.
Clase Azul ULTRA's black, ceramic carafe is adorned with Silver, Platinum and Gold by well known, Mexican artisans. The Agave medallion is pure Silver "Ley .925" and is sculpted by the well known Mexican artist Leon Fernandez. The decorative paint on the bottle is pure platinum and is applied by the famous Mexican artist Tomas Saldivar. Finally, the label is applied to this work of art in 24K Gold. Because of the incredible attention to detail, each decanter takes approximately 40 days to produce. The final product is a work of art and is signed by the Artists and the Master Distiller.
Mr. Lomeli has been the producer of Ultra Premium Tequilas for nearly 10 years. His award winning Clase Azul Reposado has received praise in the U.S. with Gold Medals from the highly acclaimed San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago, and a 92 rating from the internationally regarded Anthony Dias Blue.

I believe that @CGTLH wanted a shot of Clase Azul Ultra. I was not willing to do it for research purposes, even with claims of being “the greatest experience”
Oh, c'mon. With all the money you saved by not bringing the kids, you can't do the research?

Hey Joe, you really need to pay more attention. Anniversary, no kids, remember? This is what happens when there are 6 pages before even boarding the ship.

@Lovetocruise2002, back when we were all younger (May 3, 2018) you helped me with my cabin selection for my May 2019 Symphony cruise. At the time you said "I can't believe that yet another person will sail her before me". Well, tomorrow you will be on Symphony and I'll be home.
Color me...
Happy sailing!!

Once I gained confidence I started whizzing around the rink. My confidence turned into over-confidence and I took a turn way too tight, lost control and thudded onto my back, elbows and helmet. It served me right. No major damage done, shook it off, kept going.
Thank goodness it ended well for you. I worked with a woman the took her grandchildren skating. Same thing happened to her, except she broke BOTH elbows. OUCH!
