  1. Can someone help answer this question if possible? I am interested in RS suite 1556. Some of the suite layout plans are different compared to what I see on YouTube. Does the main living area have a separate toilet and shower?. From the YouTube videos, it looks like it does. But on the layout pictures, it does not show. Plus, the layout picture is not an accurate diagram for the Jewel; it's back to front. Any answers would be grateful.

    Thanks

RC just cancelled Rhapsody of the Seas out of Barcelona to Tampa scheduled for Nov 30 2021 departure. Currently no other transatlantic sailings are showing up. As i understood from people in this blog, there may be Harmony leaving for the US for winter season. I am also hoping for some good news and been waiting for transatlantic to US before end of this year.

I really hope Harmony sails. I am currently booked on her for the 31st October 2021 Transatlantic.

I'm cautiously optimistic that I will make my end of Sept and Oct. cruises this year, not so much for my 11 day cruise in January.   Gotta get this show on the road before this drags on much longer.

Same here, now have 14 cruises booked up to the end of 2022, can't wait.

We have been cruising for many years and until last year I always booked everything myself. Thank goodness before Covid I started using Michelle at MEI and I couldn’t be more pleased with her. She has done an unbelievable job for us through all these cancellations, FCC’s, Refunds and Rebookings.  She’s on top of everything happening at RCI and answers emails etc very promptly, including weekends.  Also others are correct, location doesn’t matter, she’s in VA and we are in Texas.

    Hi Barbie Bell
I agree it doesn't matter where you are based. I live in Thailand and have excellent service from MEI (Kathy)always responds in a very timely manner.

Ask 10 people on this message board and 11 will give you the name of their MEI agent (Kathy here), there is a reason we all cherish their service, quick responses to simple email inquires is one of many.

I'm not sure how FCC work with agents, whether they have control or you, however if there was a cruise / room that I wanted, I wouldn't wait for a FCC, I'd put down the cash and apply the FCC after.

Not sure which agent(s) you're talking about on YouTube but Danny from Harr Travel does some awesome walk-through's / tours of ships, rooms, CocoCay, etc... However, I'm sticking with my MEI agent.

Kathy for me she has been great MEI

I was randomly assigned Kathy Geiger from my inquiry and I couldn't have been happier with the service she provided! ??

I was also assigned Kathy some months back. She has been brilliant, quick response and great service.

The link to check-in is usually right below the names on this screen. I know a few of the features on the app vary by ship so it may be possible that Brilliance doesn’t offer app check-in yet? Not sure.

You should still be able to check-in online.

My link to the Set Sail Pass is missing , and has been for the past few days

Sorry, forgot to attach, please see below

    Dear Guest,
We’re looking forward to welcoming you aboard our March 22nd Quantum of the Seas sailing! Before we embark on our adventure, we have some important information to share with you.
After consultation with medical experts and public health authorities, we’ve decided that regardless of nationality, any guest or crewmember traveling from, to, or through mainland China or Hong Kong less than 15 days prior to their sailing will be unable to board any of our ships. We regret to have to do this, but due to the recent increase of coronavirus cases around the world, this precaution will help avoid the spread of this virus. We take this very seriously and have a responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy environment onboard our ships, as well as in the ports we visit.
Additionally, we’ve tightened our secondary health screening requirements and the following guests will need to undergo extra screenings to ensure safety at the cruise terminal:
        •    Guests or crewmembers that have been in contact with individuals that have traveled from, to, or through mainland China or Hong Kong in the last 15 days.
        •    Anyone that holds a Chinese or Hong Kong passport – regardless of when they were there last.
        •    Anyone that feels unwell or demonstrates flu-like symptoms.

While these measures are conservative, our responsibility is to reduce the spread of coronavirus, in an effort to keep our ships safe and to ensure you are able to enjoy your time with us.
Your vacation and your health are very important to us, so in an abundance of caution, we’ve taken numerous proactive steps to maintain high health standards onboard our ships. This includes:
        •    Thoroughly sanitizing the cruise ship terminal before and after every sailing,
        •    Special sanitizing of high traffic areas onboard multiple times a day,
        •    Adding extra medical staff on each sailing,
        •    Providing complimentary consultations with medical experts for all guests & crew,
        •    Plus, the Captain will make two daily announcements during your cruise reminding everyone of how to stay healthy onboard.

And, you can do your part too! To ensure we all have an enjoyable cruise, here are some important tips to help keep you healthy and prevent colds, flus, and stomach viruses – both onboard and on land.
        •    After using the bathroom and before any meal or snack (it’s a cruise; we know there’s lots of that), make sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
        •    If you happen to sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue (or with your upper sleeve). Avoid sneezing or coughing into your hands or without covering your nose and mouth.
        •    Use hand sanitizer as often as possible. Rub the gel thoroughly, and in-between your fingers, until your hands are dry.

Lastly, due to the fluidity of this situation, along with the volume of guests we are currently assisting, we’re reviewing each cruise in sail date order, so that we can better understand the impact of the coronavirus. Should we have to make any changes, we’re committed to contacting you and your Travel Advisor one week prior to your sail date, at the very least.
We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
    Sincerely,
