DublinFC Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Richard Simms over at Cruise Radio as an article on the Carnival cancelling. All of March is cancelled, looking at April for a restart. https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-cruise-line-cancels-all-march-2021-sailings/ Quote
PaulRC Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Just saw the same news in my stock brokerage site. Quote
monctonguy Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Keep pushing the dates out.....moving the goal posts down the field....or kicking the can down the road..... This has been happening for a year now.....dont book or hope for anything before mid summer and probably fall/winter to be safe at this point. Quote
DDaley Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Just saw HAL cancelled all cruises through April 30. Glad I bit the bullet and cancelled my April 2021 on Indy the day before final payment! monctonguy 1 Quote
princevaliantus Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Well, guess we will see about Europe cruises considering Germany, Italy and UK are all in lockdown. I don't think they will be sailing until Sept., the earliest. RickinSTL and monctonguy 2 Quote

HeWhoWaits Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Just keep in mind that based on previous announcements, only cruises departing April 5 and sooner could be announced today. Royal will only cancel those that have passed the final payment date. Yesterday was that date for April 5. A pause until May 14 almost certainly won't be announced by Royal until February 14 at the earliest (after final payments that are due on February 13 are made). Quote
RBRSKI Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 I am so glad our 25th wedding anniversary is next year 2022!!!! We booked a Crown Loft Suite on the Symphony for 5/21/22 and If they are not cruising by then, they must have gone bankrupt lol Quote
cruisellama Posted January 7, 2021 Report Posted January 7, 2021 We're still not seeing the test cruises on the horizon - so '21 expectations need to be very guarded. Quote
mattymay Posted January 8, 2021 Report Posted January 8, 2021 Shout out to Carnival who just let me cancel our Mardi Gras sailing without penalty, full refund even though it's not on the list of cancelled itineraries yet. Will be putting that money aside for Wonder or Odyssey. WAAAYTOOO and jticarruthers 1 1 Quote
bigpete Posted January 8, 2021 Report Posted January 8, 2021 in other news, Carnival posted Europe 2022 completely under the radar. no coverage from any media or their corporate news releases page. Quote
