My husband won't even change seats in the movie theater when we pick seats.

I keep reading on several sites that Anthem has an engine issue and is adjusting itineraries until June.
I had read there were two specific itineraries that are affected - June 2 and June 16. Let's hope it stays confined to these.

Interesting idea! Seems to me that if ECVs are ok, your e-bike would pass muster. But who knows the ways of the naughty room?

Still 2 months out, and continue to be amazed every time I read one of these threads.
This sounds like a club having a bouncer hired by the city. Makes about 10% sense.
Don't understand why RCCL is unwilling or unable to give passengers (better yet, CUSTOMERS) a clear and consistently enforced policy. If security is overriding the company's policies, then there's a problem at one end or the other.
How about I just bring hamsters and wheels to generate my own power? Or are those verboten as well?

For most ships a reservation is required for Izumi, they may have takeout available on some ships but that is usually only Oasis class.
I know it's not Oasis class, but any chance that Anthem's Izumi offers takeout?

Thanks, all. The app was exactly what I needed. It had been a minute since I checked down at that level.
What a helpful bunch!

We're on Anthem for a 7-night Noway cruise on May 14, and looking to book some dining ahead of time. We would like to figure out what the MDR themes are for each night, so we can book opposite something maybe less desirable.
I tried to look through the Cruise Compass library, but have not seen that kind of information. Does anyone know if it's possible to figure out what the 7-night rotation is, and would it be the same for all ships? Or at least all in the Quantum class?

Now for the onboard shops, spa and casino it would be nice if wow bands worked as currency like your seapass and is something that can be fixed through IT and programming. But of course we all know Royal's IT departments isn't exactly the best in the business.
Hey now, don't be hating on Brandon The RC IT Intern. He's doing the best he can as it is.

I have used the Key many times on the Anthem and my bag was always placed inside my room, sometimes inside a closet. I also have a lock on the bag…even though I keep my passport and cash with me.
I liked the Chops lunch on boarding day. I also liked the priority tender boarding when there is a tender port. Being brought through a side door right to the front of the line is very convenient.
There is usually reserved Key seating on the Anthem in the theater, but in the past it was rows 3 and 4 center…now it seems like it’s in more in the back of the theater. I’ll find my own seat, thanks. Same with 270.
They say Key guests can get in to the entertainment venues early…but they also say Suite guests, Diamond Plus, Pinnacles and some casino guests can also get early admission, but I have very rarely seen this happen. It’s always been doors open…c’mon in!
I never did the Key reserved times on the FlowRider or iFly, but I did when it was offered for the NorthStar. I don’t know if they still offer it on NorthStar, though.
I also liked the priority disembarkation. I do early walk off with all my luggage and don’t have to join the line of early risers. It’s nice being one of the first off the ship as soon as we are cleared, through customs, in my car, and usually home before 8am.Bottom line, for me it was worth the purchase. I was getting internet anyway so when it was reasonable for me considering the price of internet…it made sense.
Brian, thanks for the info. We're on Anthem in May and have Key purchased. Very helpful to hear your specific experience!

It is amazing the number of people that think they are talking to Royal Caribbean through this site
Probably because the level of information here is at minimum what you would hope for from RCCL. Thanks, Matt!

We've been watching this unfold with much interest. Our Anthem cruise in May will be (essentially) our first, so maybe by that time, all the kinks will have been sorted out.
The Mrs. is quite concerned, though, with what looks to be so many "classics" removed. Let's just say she isn't very adventuresome, and if there's a Mediterranean-heavy (or Indian, or take your pick) night with little alternative, for example, then to the Windjammer we shall sail...

I guess it depends on what they're playing: polka music or the theme from Jaws?

Restaurants on the ship are different, you pay one flat rate (either beforehand through the cruise planner, the first day onboard, or charge to your account after each dinner) and enjoy as much as you want.
So, with a Jamie's lunch (where I don't see any prices on its menu), I'm essentially treating it like MDR that I paid extra for in advance? Order extra starters, dessert, etc?
(sorry, color me pre-gold... )

Success booking Jamie's through the app. It showed the correct Black Friday prices.
I think I'm done (or at least as far as I can go for now), unless they decide to release another round of excursions for our 5/14 sailing...
-
I'm a very early riser. Checked it out about 330am Central, and canceled/rebooked all my stuff (Key, water, soda pkg, Chops lunch, one shore excursion) -- and saved $130 overall.
Then, when normal people get up, it started acting stoopid. I figure it'll get better once the guy who feeds the hamsters comes in...

My (Android) app just updated this morning. Here's the release note:
With this release we've improved guest departure with the addition of departure delay information and enhanced functionality related to multiple port stops.
(.... whatever that means....)
