Absolutely you can do this. I did the antigen test at Shoppers on the Friday, flew into Miami on the Saturday, sailed on Sunday.

I sent an email last night and received a response this morning. I sent the following email to [email protected]:
Hello,
My name is Kenneth Johnston, date of birth mm/dd/yyyy and Crown and Anchor Number xxxxxx.
I have two Future Cruise Certificates that I would like to transfer to family members:
1-xxxxxxxx in the amount of $1,486
1-xxxxxxxx in the amount of $250
I would like to transfer these to my daughter, her name (DOB mm/dd/yyyy; Crown and Anchor number xxxxxxxxx). She is going on a cruise with my wife, wife's name (DOB mm/dd/yyyyyy; Crown and Anchor Number xxxxxxxxx) and I would like the FCC to be sharable between the two of them. Reservation number for Susan and Megan is xxxxxx.

Here is the reply I received:
Hello Ken, Thank you for your time. My name is Cat and I will be happy to help you today. Thank you for much for taking time to send us your consent to allow for your daughter Megan Illg and your wife to be able to utilize 1-xxxxxxx and 1-xxxxxxx on their upcoming cruise res number. While we are unable to physically change the name on the certificates, I have notated each certificate with your direct consent to allow for advised guest to be able to use them. For security reasons, we are unable to make changes on a booking with anyone other than the Travel Advisor, if listed on the booking, or directly with the guests booked on that cruise. We kindly ask that they reach out to us or their possible advisor for assistance with application of the certificates. Thank you for considering Royal Caribbean International. It is my hope that we can welcome you back onboard with us in the future. Sincerely, THANKS AGAIN @michelle!!!!

That’s exactly what happened to me and what we did.  My mom will not be going on a cruise again as she is older and doesn’t want to, so my TA told us to email and once my mom wrote her email, the FCC was issued back in my name in a couple of weeks.  We were very happy that worked out and we didn’t lose our money. 
This was for our March 2020 cancelled cruise and we were able to apply it for two upcoming cruises. 

Here is my experience with transferring two FCCs in the past year.  We paid for my parents to sail in the Villa Suite with us and this sailing was cancelled in December 2020 due to covid.  They issued FCCs back in my parents name for their share of the deposit even though I paid with my credit card.  At first we just assumed that we were out the $500 because my parents don't plan to cruise again until 2023 at the earliest. 
My TA did some digging and she told me to get my parents to send an email to guest relations ([email protected]) stating that they are requesting that their FCCs be transferred to me, their daughter.  Email was sent and I received the FCCs back in my name in about two weeks.  It went smoothly.  The hardest part was explaining to my parents what to write.  Because the FCC was in their name, they had to request the change.

Hopefully it works out for us! Things do change quickly. I’m still going to pay the final payment as we have CWC and FCC. 

We just did ours in Walgreens to enter Canada.. Checked travel and no insurance and it was free. 

FYI.... United Airlines will start service Dec 5, 2021 to Barbados from EWR and IAD. 
More options for the future! ??

We stay in Inside Cabins, so our expectations are not real high....but after thinking about it for a bit, I'd like to see another AC outlet or two as well as a couple USB outlets by the bedstands.

Better wifi reception and the ability to cast or stream to the TVs in the cabin.

An outlet near the bed for device charging would be good. But casting to the TV or some sort of in room streaming option would be good for times when you just want to chill even an in house movie channel or two or some popular TV shows. And have to agree about a larger shower. I honestly would be willing to sacrifice a little space in the room for that.

Just emailed [email protected] with my latest eTrade statement for a Royal Caribbean cruise 5/9/21 and and Celebrity cruise 12/11/21 and received my shareholder OBC within 4 hours for both.

I was able to get a hold on my new cruise and then agent called RC and put some of my FCC as my deposit. 

That was me, and if I recall correctly, it was @Ogilthorpe who helped me out with that, so I'll pay it forward.  ?  If you call 1-888-305-4626, they can expedite the availability of the reward OBC and put it right into your cruise planner.  I just contacted them last week with another redemption, and it was in my account within 15 minutes of hanging up the phone. ?

We have been on this ship on this deck on the same side and loved it! For us, minimal noise and mid ship was ideal. 
We usually do this on other ships. Deck 10 or 11.
Next year will try something different since it will our first Junior Suite. 
 

Can't say enough good things about Michelle.  She has done us great with price reductions, upgrades, etc.  I never liked Travel Agents until we met her... although I'm sure any from MEI would be good.

Especially right now... I would not try to do anything with a booking that you have set in place.  There are so many moving pieces at Royal right now and so few workers.... things could get messed up on any transfer.  Plus your agent at the first agency has worked with you to secure the booking and done some work for you.  When you are ready to book again, or if you have a FCC that you need to use - that is the perfect time to reach out and start fresh with a MEI-Travel Agent.  You can contact one that i recommended thru here, email me and I will have match you up with one, or there is a link on Matt's page where you can request a quote and one of the team of agents that works with RCCL Blog clients will contact you with a quote.
