All of that is true but, for a devout Catholic, physical attendance at Sunday Mass is a requirement except for exceptional circumstances. Vacation would not qualify as such a circumstance. Not making judgments either way, just pointing out. Does any other religion have this requirement?

The posts earlier on this thread refer to cruises booked under rules that no longer apply.

Yes, last page of your E-documents available approximately 30 days out. Print as many as you need. I’m afraid to ask how many bags you need & how much they might weigh if you are concerned!
The porters at the terminal will also have generic ones available & will just write your room number on them.

Wow, it’s clear I am NOT a gambler! $10,000? $5,000?

We check out 2 towels per person at the beginning of the cruise. Then we just keep exchanging them for dry ones all week. Show the attendant 4 wet ones, get 4 dry ones back. We don’t actually return the towels til the last full day. Then I ask the attendant to confirm all towels have been returned & we’re done.

Unfortunately probably not. If there is a night you don’t want anything on the menu, either buffet or specialty restaurant would be your options. Remember you can make a meal out of appetizers too. I love the crab cakes & will order 2 with a starch and a veggie as my entree.

And if you look, they push those free massages on everyone on day one. Glad it makes you feel better than you got a freebie but they give those away like water to anyone & everyone to get them into the spa. The phone rep probably got a commission for getting you to take it.

Yup, they do lots of that on board too especially the first day. Then hard sell other services. Glad you are happy with that freebie.

Reminds me of the first time at Disney my then 16 year old son wanted to hang out at the resort pool instead of a park with us. After I unsuccessfully hid my immense sorrow that he didn’t want to stay with Mom, I let him hop a bus back to the hotel. I didn’t think he was gonna do anything stupid and, besides not enough sunscreen, he didn’t. It is certainly allowed so if you’re both good with it, nobody will stop you!

Same boat here Wonder of the Seas in mid June. My girlfriend has gone on a number of these and prior to 2023 she had to book the shows when she got on the ship. Imagine our suprise when we checked the app today and see everything booked! She's very frustrated as this is my first cruise and she wanted me to experience it all... But from what I'm reading in here we should be OK other than the comedy show. Fingers crossed!
Gotta stay on top of the changes. Cruise planning is not for the faint of heart. Since the reopening, there have been A LOT of changes and changes to the changes and then more changes.

If you go into this expecting all the extra $$$ you dropped will ensure a perfect cruise, you may be sorely disappointed. Things can and will happen regardless of how many extras you’ve purchased. And no, expect no comp upgrades from Royal. If you want a better room, you’ll have to pay for it.

Oh I can only hope!!! Please can they replace all the Broadway shows with something that isn’t old and tired. Maybe something written in the last 30 years. Might as well be doing Oklahoma as the current offerings.

Sailed her twice on the last year and do not remember that offering nor is it listed in the cruise compass.

And I feel like the less times you check them in and out, the less opportunity for mistakes to be made.
