smokeybandit
It's always tough to try to read into what they mean or if they'll ever be used for anything actionable (vs. just marketing materials), but it's interesting.

TexanTwoStep
I hope it's free cookies for everyone! Seriously though, I think Royal's loyalty program is kind of weak and needs some updating. It would be nice if they revamped it and added way better benefits for those "loyal to Royal" (free DBP for top tiers would be cool)
Rackham
The only one of those trademarks which sounds like a loyalty program with cross branding and marketing potential is "Royal One". One loyalty program for the Royal Caribbean Group merging together all others. Royal One, because when you're sailing with the Royal Caribbean Group, you're a Royal One. On the others, Anchored sounds like you've crossing the mob if you're choosing to sail other lines. Boundless and Aspire sound like Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors respectively. Royal Rewards sounds like a casino or other program which either resets annually or uses earnable, then spendable, points. Flagship just doesn't have the cachet that Royal One has. It's there, but doesn't really do much emotionally. Neesa and TessFromFlorida

Which cruise line has a better loyalty program than Royal? I cruise different lines but would argue Royals loyalty program with the drink vouchers is the best in the industry steverk, Snotarni and Neesa
Ampurp85
I think those names might be the new combined tiers. Royal has the best loyalty program of the cruise lines imho. But if they could merge those perks with SilverSea and Celebrity, they would be top notch. I personally don't see any issues with the current program other than its not universal across the lines. With hotel loyalty, you can stay at different brands under the umbrella and get the perks. It means access to more revenue. As a pre-vintage I would love to sail Celebrity but between my casino and loyalty status, there is an issue of finances. It's not as financially feasible to sail celebrity when my sailings on Riyal are discounted heavily in the casino and come with discounted internet and free drinks thanks to loyalty. Neesa
@Ampurp85 I agree the loyalty program is enjoyable for sure. Being D+ we enjoy wonderful perks. In my perfect world (because we also are pre vintage) wish there was some way to earn loyalty points on X to add to our Royal totals. We are really interested in Celebrity now that kiddo is leaving the nest & our cruising style is not Icon & Star at this point. We are wanting smaller and don't need the waterslides etc. I looked for our sailing in 2025 at Celebrity HARD, but not earning points towards my status had me putting on the brakes for a minute. I get it, their program, their rules. Just going to take it one sailing at a time, and I LOVE 2 CRUISE!! In 2026 I will be celebrating 60 years young & I may break free for an X celebration though to mark the occasion! I figure if I can push it to 2026, maybe the program will have merged. At the current price I can get 4 sailings from Royal (thanks to loyalty and casino status) and that's not including what I will have to pay for drinks and internet. I want to sail Icon for the shows and food (also the different class), but unless Star gets the Rocky Horror picture show.......I have no interest in sailing it. smokeybandit
Since I'm C&A points chasing, I have no desire to book Celebrity. However, I would book Celebrity in a heartbeat if I got C&A points for it. Sweety, JustMeJoe, WAAAYTOOO and 4 others

foxrunner
We are just Emerald around 56 points and we booked a 11 night on X. The itinerary plus a group rate made it attractive and less expensive. We talked about going on Royal for the points but I didn't want to sail on an old small ship. We are on a brand newish ship with X. Getting points on both would be nice but Royal is going to loose us because we want to visit different ports. Maybe the new Discovery class ship will open up new places and we will enjoy a new ship. Time will tell. Taking a cruise that you don't want to go on, just to earn points doesn't make sense to us. Once I hit Diamond (after our April 2025 sailing), I have one more booked on Star of the Seas and then its open to X - since Celebrity status match above Diamond nets the same as Diamond, I don't feel I have to chase C&A points or status to go to D+ at this time. If we get to D+, it would be nice but unless we are booking suites, its going to be a long road to level up another 80 points after our Star sailing. I'd at least like to experience Celebrity a time or two before deciding if I want to chase the next level on RCL...if that next level is still at that point number.
