I just started about 3 weeks ago and can’t seem to get out of the 20,000s! Good for you to score such a great deal! Quote
San Diego Garrett Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 To earn as many points as you can make sure you are playing all 5 games each day. Slots are auto play, so don't even need to do anything while they run. PPPJJ-GCVAB 1 Quote
Landry_TX Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 I grabbed one of the 7 nights on Liberty. 1,000,000 points seems kind of high for this round of cruises. JT2 1 Quote

Bob Burd Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 There is one cruise out there for 11/15 for 5 nights. Odyssey of the seas leaving from Ft Lauderdale. It won't be there long I bet. PPPJJ-GCVAB 1 Quote
Bob Burd Posted December 10, 2021 Report Posted December 10, 2021 There are a lot of MyVegas RCL cruises available. Leaving from LA, Barbados, Galveston. I just booked a 7day from LA. I just got back from a MyVegas one from Galveston. Okgladgal and Landry_TX 2 Quote
SpeedNoodles Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 There are some Royal Caribbean sailings available right now on MyVegas. From a cursory glance, they appear to be sailings within the next 4 to 5 weeks. Quote
San Diego Garrett Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 Yep, almost pulled the trigger on one for 2/4, but it's a little too soon for me. I'll keep an eye out for some March or April sailings. Quote
AspiringCruisePlanner Posted January 19, 2022 Report Posted January 19, 2022 Originally, I thought MyVegas was a casino reward program for playing actual slots in the casino. I got curious and downloaded the myvegas slot app. Then I found out they have 7 apps (plus the Facebook app) that generate the loyalty points. I've been maxing them out for the past week (each app has a daily limit on loyalty points earned). I also found out that it's easier with the Android versions because the points accumulate based on time spent in the app rather than number of slot pulls (iOS versions). In one week, I'm already up to 225k loyalty points! Which means I'm 22.5% on track to a free cruise based on the most recent point costs per sailing. I'd estimate 1M loyalty points earned in a month would be the most you could squeeze out of the apps. I've played several of these "real life reward" games and have never actually gotten anything out of them. Mostly because they are scams. MyVegas seems like the only legitimate real life rewards apps I've ever found. WAAAYTOOO and CruisingfromClayton 2 Quote
The Fox Posted January 19, 2022 Report Posted January 19, 2022 I'm not familiar with them either. Do you have to wager money or just play to play? Quote
AspiringCruisePlanner Posted January 19, 2022 Report Posted January 19, 2022 2 hours ago, The Fox said: I'm not familiar with them either. Do you have to wager money or just play to play? All free to play. No real money wagered. You can pay for extra chips, but I have not and would never spend a dime on any app like this. Quote
San Diego Garrett Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 Has anyone kept track of how often they post new cruises? Quote
Wilson Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 If you can leave on short notice and get covid test done today or tomorrow, there is a "free" 7 night Southern Caribbean cruise leaving out of Barbados on 02/06. @BrandonOwen grab the clubs and go! WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
PPPJJ-GCVAB Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 UPDATE from my October post: I ended up deleting the app and will just be traditional and pay for my cruises. Not sure how some members can keep playing without ever having to purchase extra chips. Fact is...I did pay a few times for extra chips and then all of a sudden I was charged for 2 extra purchases I did not make (I had only made 1 for $3.99 and ended up paying $25!!!). I was playing on my iPad... Anyway, I uninstalled the app and freed myself from having to find time to play each day. Guess I don't have a knack for slot games! LOL Quote

LOL Been playing for about 4 years and have never been overcharged. I have spent less than $10 and have received about $1000 in onboard credit. I had a free cruise also, but I had to cancel because of a work conflict. They refunded my loyalty points. I don't play every day but when I do it's for less than 5 minutes. PPPJJ-GCVAB 1 Quote

All I've seen is the free slot play, but I guess I've only been playing for a few weeks. Side question, have you been able to apply OBC or free slot play to an existing booking? I know the redemption rules state that it has to be for a new booking, but I'm wondering whether that is not set in stone. Quote

I have been able to apply to an existing reservation if it was less than 30 days of booking. However, the cruise cannot be more than a year out. I booked one 3 weeks ago, but the cruise is May 2023 so they would not honor. Points were refunded. Quote

I have used it before, but they are strict. It has to be used for a new booking withing that 30day time frame and sailing withing 12 months. My friend tried to apply his to an odyssey sailing which he just booked but was 5 days outside of the 12months and they wouldn't accept it. Quote
AspiringCruisePlanner Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 Thanks for the info @Wilson and @Ampurp85! Thoughts on whether the free slot play (not OBC) would follow this within 30 days of booking and sail within 1 year unwritten rule? Quote
San Diego Garrett Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 $100 OBC came back a couple days ago. I was able to grab it for 100,000 points, but now I think they just raised it to 120,000. Quote

San Diego Garrett Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 I earn about 30,000 points a day. I play all 5 games every day, but on auto-play, so I don't have to sit there and watch my phone. I just check back and once the daily points are maxed I go to the next game. I currently have 1.5 million points and I'm waiting to spend them on the right cruise or two. It's the constant checking to see if new prizes have opened up that is the biggest annoyance. Quote

I'm there with you. 750k LP and about 3 weeks since I started. No reason to spend $ on chips as the LP gain is entirely dependent on time spent in the app for Android users. Looking forward to the next round of released cruises. Quote

Ampurp85 Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 That $100 OBC used to be 50,000. I brought it for my last cruise. Then it was 100,000 and within a month it is now 120,000 and has been sold out. It is random because for a while they had no cruises but now, they do, but the selection is pretty crappy. Quote
