On the MEI website there is an option to use a different agent, or email [email protected] and you'll be assigned someone new!

If they do have them they will be small and about the size of a pack and play. I think the benefit of the pack and play is that it's much easier to put away when not in use.

Thank You!
When we started, we booked on our own, but the Allure O T S, aka OBC convinced us to go the TA route. I'm not thrilled with my TA. We need to notify her about price drops; she doesn't work weekends or holidays. What I'm saying is no response to emails unless we are in the normal business hours window. I thought all Mei agents had an automatic software-enabled price drop notification, but for whatever reason, she doesn't. I know that I need to move on, but I hate to be those people, as she seems really nice. We are also exclusively booking group cruises for the price and refundability. We know price drops, especially now, are rare, but why are we telling her about them? Given the fact that we now have a new American Pope, I'm looking for absolution.
Email [email protected] and you can get a new TA assigned to you. We do all get notifications of price drops, but it's still manually checking each one and the price hasn't always dropped. It's not usual to see price drops anymore (still happens, just not a ton)

A really good TA is reachable 7 days/week via e-mail and/or text & doesn’t have traditional “office hours.”
We do need time off! But if it's an emergency we're there.

Yes this was announced today. It's about birthdays for the traveling party and Royal Caribbean. Affects the Cruise Planner and the cruise itself!

You can ask for it back, but she will have to release it. Here is the website to do it after you have the letter of release from the agent.

As a TA I would have no idea how to do this- if the room was not booked by me on behalf of my clients then there is no way to contact them. Even if I did book that room for clients, it seems kind of a weird ask (from their perspective).
The room in between may also be not a double occupancy room- so switching wouldn't even be possible. If I were you I'd put the room(s) you want on waitlist so you'll be notified if they cancel.

Search here for past cruise compas. That's the best way to find it.

Maybe your amazing travel agent pulled some strings and got it done for you. (She didn't, but we'll pretend!)

I'm sailing tomorrow- not on Royal, but still at sea so it's a win for me!

They make plenty of money from the cruise line.
That's quite relative!

Celebrity is more expensive than royal
Not necessarily! Considering drinks and wifi are included with many fares (especially group rates) that helps with the overall cost. But Celebrity isn't always more expensive if you look at the cost of Icon class.

hottest part of the ship is when they turn the air off between 2-4am.
wakes me out of a sound sleep as the cabin is suddenly stifling.
eco mode against our will!!
We found this to be the case on Icon this summer. It was stifling in our room at night and quite chilly in the day. Now I have a fan that I will travel with. While I appreciate the sentiment of eco mode they should do it during the day and not at night!

I would probably bring a foldable umbrella stroller. Something that will work well at the airport (if you fly), in the cruise terminal, and on the ship.

It no longer includes Voom for most ships, and it will depend on your date of sailing (looks like you'll be excluded based on Legend of the Seas dates)
*The complimentary internet package is not available for Sky Junior Suites sailing on Allure of the Seas®, Anthem of the Seas®, Harmony of the Seas®, Oasis of the Seas®, Odyssey of the Seas®, Ovation of the Seas®, Quantum of the Seas®, Symphony of the Seas® and Wonder of the Seas®. Sky Junior Suites sailing on Icon of the Seas®, Spectrum of the Seas® and Utopia of the Seas® have this benefit included through April 30, 2026.

If you booked in CAD you probably can't transfer to Costco. Any US travel agency can't take over Canadian bookings and vice versa.
But, if you are able to transfer it to a different TA or book with them originally you can't do the adjustments, the TA must do them.

It depends. I can usually respond within minutes for a simple question, but sometimes it's longer, depending on everything else going on. Sometimes people can wait- and should wait, because if I'm dealing with a pressing issue then your simple question for a 2027 cruise isn't as urgent.
It also depends on if I can fix it or I have to call the cruise line to fix it- that obviously takes longer. But in general I respond within an hour or two.

It very well could have not been available when the TA looked, but it was later. There are lots of reasons this could happen. TAs are human and can definitely make mistakes, but I have seen rooms not available and 5 minutes later they are.
