We have come to the determination that we are cruise people.

This entire trip has been amazing. The staff has been wonderful, the experiences have been great, and the memories will last. Very sad it's almost over!

Today I got some alone time on the suite deck to unwind, we toured the bridge, saw the hideaway heist show (another amazing show!!), got dressed up for formal night, and the kid got sick a bit at the main dining room... I don't blame her lobster night made me want to yack too(good thing we had a great lunch at CK!).

I recognized a few people in the audience from the Columbus musical. It's odd they seem to want to deny they are in the shows but then gush a bit at compliments. The guy was impressed that I knew he was the main shark, my daughter got a kick out of the one girl when I said I knew she was a cheeseburger. 

Let's play a game.  What did I say to my wife to get her to make this face... lol

Hint the actual answer shouldnt actually be posted here. 

Current status: wishing i had another week.

Out of curiosity, when did you have to give the names for the people going to the beach club cabana? We have one reserved for our cruise but are only a family of four - wondering if we can invite someone we meet on the cruise (our Coco Cay day is at the end of the cruise) or if we will have to have the names at the beginning of the cruise.

Haven't given out names yet. From what I've seen so far I get the bracelets tomorrow when we get to the cabana area. Only thing I have so far is a single ticket with my name on it. Still dont know who is sitting out lol

Coco Cay tomorrow! I'll probably do a full detailed Beach Club and Overwater Cabana write up some time after the cruise. I'll still post pics and a little something here.

In the meantime  ive got some time to myself again, so I have claimed a suite deck cabana  to relax in. Here are the most recent maps of Coco Cay I have.

Another great day. Well almost..  We went walking around San Juan, I forgot to take my morning meds so I had to reboard the ship and told my group I'd meet back up with them. On my way back right at the spot I was supposed to meet with them I saw someone get punched in the face and mugged. It pretty much ruined the port and I didnt feel comfortable having my wife and kid out there. So I had us leave early. Mother in law and sister in law stayed, dont think they were happy about me taking them back to the ship. Too bad.

We did get an invite to the helipad sail away for suite guests with the ship officers and they let me bring my whole party. So everyone had a great treat. I thought it was amazing, Mohamed saw me taking a picture of the bridge and told me to come see him later. I also saw one of the fine line performers out there. I didnt want to impede in his time but I did tell him I recognized him and told him he was great. He seemed surprised I recognized him, but he was actually memorable. 

Started to rain so we had to leave otherwise I would stayed for the sunset. Headed back to the suite and waited for the sunset from our balcony.  

We agreed that we needed a coastal kitchen night. I really wish we had gone earlier in the cruise. My wife got the mushroom consomme and short ribs, I got french onion soup and the shortribs. Daughter got steak again (steak every single dinner service... that's my girl!). The food was amazing. @Lovetocruise2002  I am #teamCK now. (Not sure I'm tagging people right) Too bad we will still need to have group meals otherwise I wouldnt go anywhere else. Dessert we had ricotta cheesecake, coconut custard and the chocolate cake. Very happy the lounge bar had port wine, because I forgot to being on a bottle. I researched didnt looke like the venue's had any. Got that that car CK has some, I'll try a few other bars tomorrow. It really tied in the desserts for me. Delicious!

Went to Mohamed to see what he wanted to see me for. He noticed me taking pics of the bridge and worked together a tour for me, my wife and daughter. This is something I really wanted to do. Both of concierge have been amazing. Such a great treat for tomorrow!

We went to see Columbus the Musical. I really wasnt sure about this when I read about it, but it was great. Every show has been amazing.

Not able to convince family to watch the kid for another night, guess my initial post about having plenty of childcare was wrong. Just means more time with my 2 favorite people though ( as long as I actually get them both during the day) But since they had to go in early for bed and I have insomnia, I met up with a buddy that is with us and we hit a couple bars, saw the 90s party and went to love and marriage. Really wish my wife could have been there, we would have been picked for sure. Still it was really funny.

Tomorrow last sea day. Then coco cay overwater cabanas on saturday!!! Where the hell did this week go. Wish it wasnt ending so soon!

Fell asleep posting last night.

Here is an insomniac view of harmony 

Then off to Izumi Habichi. And oh my god. The food, the entertainment, and sake were all top notch. I was seriously blown away... and completely stuffed! I highly recommend Izumi! Best hibachi for the experience hands down. They let us do Sake Bombs but we had to drop them in, that was disappointing but I can understand the rule. 

Grandma was gracious enough to watch the kid for the night. So Off to rising tide, a few chocolate martinis for the wife and a few espresso martinis for me (no wonder I cant sleep) was a perfect night cap! We went back to the room for a bit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) then closed down the suite deck jacuzzi. 

Jackie was beat but I cant sleep so I explored the ship with noone on it. And got some amazing pics.

I'll attempt to organize the next set of pics better. For now here is the port say at st maartin and the room decorations.

Multi part post because I can't  sleep. Rain, lots of it,   is called for our coco cay day as of right now. Pray to the sun gods for me!!!

What an amazing day.

The other 9 did a catamaran excursion. Me and the wife got the day to ourselves. We did the St Maarten bus tour. Very interesting but odd at the same time. St Maarten is hard to explain,  beautiful and sad at the same time. The last hurricane did a number and parts of it seem too poor to rebound. There were also 6 ships docked so or was jamming everywhere. 

We were the biggest but a couple of these werent small.

After that we rushed back to do our vow renewal. I had to sit in the suite deck while they all got ready. I reread my vows, and madE a few last minute adjustments at the bar with vodka on the rocks. The  loft attendants and concierge helped out with some decor and a cheese plate. It was amazing! My sister in law did an amazing job officiating the vow renewal in the suite. Most of those pics will have to wait as we used a better camera than my phone. Our daughter was the flower girl and my wife came down the loft stairs in a beautiful dress and we had a beautiful ceremony. We were about 15 minutes to late for a sunset back ground. we made up for it with pics around the ship! We even got a pic with the cruise director Mark right when they finished taping a show.

No more pics today but saw 1887 it was great!

The shows have all been amazing. 

Since we stuffed ourselves at Jamie's at lunch we skipped the mdr. Went to Windjammer to go with a small meal... yeah i had 2 plates of Mongolian. Good thing I haven't been queasy half the day!  

Tomorrow is the 10 year Anniversary!  First we have  St. Maarten, we have a tour booked just me and the wife. Daughter is going with nana (aunt) and grandma and the other 2 families.  This will be the first time we can actually spend just the 2 of us. 

Then the vow renewal in our suite! Followed by 11 of us at the habichi table. 

Going to be a great day!

Yeah I'm going to go completely nuts with pics of the beach club and cabanas.

Lots of swaying on this cruise. Started feeling kinda nauseous. Of course it happened right in the middle of our lunch at Jamie's Italian. I stayed for the pics of dessert but didnt eat any of them.  The waiter was great and wrapped up some brand new ones for us to take back. 

Attempting a nap with some dramamine. So far unsuccessful, but the nausea is going away.

I dont mind waiting too much I just add the pics and walk away. Aside from Taking pics and posting every once and a while I'm not using my phone

Didnt get in much suite deck area time before the kid got bored. Might need to get grandma to watch her

Got a few pics of Fine Line.  Those will have to wait until after I'm back home so I can sort through them better.

After the show some of the group wanted pizza. I'm sorry sorrento's just isnt good. I hated pizza until I moved to jersey though.

I went and got a Kraken Lava Flow. Oh man it was good. Then I rode up and down the elevator with the guy and his piano... it was a blast.

Still not CK pics. But got pics before we ate this time. Formal night!

MDR has been conistantly adequately satisfactory.

Our 8 year old had her first meltdown after dinner. Had to take her up to the room for a stern talking to. We got things sorted out just in time for Fine Line

I cant nap. Got 10 mins kid free so we took a walk to the suite deck and solarium. Wife was so happy to stand were seth was in the movie "like father". Guess I'm lucky she likes overweight middle aged guys lol.

The voom hasn't gotten any better. 3 pics takes a couple mins

That's identical to what my pricing is. Overwaters Cabanas were 1499 when I scored mine and then  jumped up to 1649.

Very excited to be one of the first in one. Cabanas are well worth it to me when it comes to how I enjoy a beach day!

Current cruise status report: nap on the balcony before formal night

We are having a blast and the weather is amazing!

Daughter was too short for flow rider. After some convincing I got her to go down the water slides. She loved them, i got 4 rotations in the bowl too. Tips from the lifeguard helped!

Daughter won the jackpot in the ticket machine too.

Got our letter with the overwater cabana info. Cabana 10! Not until Saturday though

Not impressed with voom. I just have to start uploading pics and walk away.
