I personally like freedom class better than oasis for a variety of reasons
My wife and I do too.
If you ask my wife what her favorite ship is, her answer will always be "Freedom". She's always trying to find a way to sail on her again.

I don't know what happens if something goes wrong and you're booked with them.
While I'm not actively trying to make this reply a plug for the travel agency that sponsors this forum, I do know what happens if something goes wrong and we're represented by our MEI agent. The amazing service we received when the covid pandemic shut down happened was incredible. Despite the fact that our agent was dealing with many, many clients (a lot with more lucrative bookings), we always felt we were her #1 priority.
A quick web search of "Cruises Only" shows me their title of "America's Largest Cruise Agency". I'm sure that's a good thing, but I'm skeptical of the one on one service we would receive.
My wife and I have made the conscious decision to stay loyal to our agent who stood by us when all cruising came to a complete stop.

Damn. $70 to play pickle ball?!?

There are times when it’s difficult to be good. This is one of those times.

I'm allowed to being a walkie talkie just as I'm allowed to break wind in the elevator. I don't do either because of the other people and myriad other ways to accomplish the end goal.
You’re supposed to do this just before you get off the elevator, especially glass ones.

I took the survey while the link was still active for everyone. I said I wanted complementary New England style seafood. Maybe we can work out a deal for Sorrento’s.

100% of mine and DH's
Soda, OJ and water.
Mine and my wife’s, too…although she gets fancy coffees and I get cans of coke. Any unused vouchers are turned into water bottles when we head back to our cabin.

Secondarily, NEVER Post your reservation number or personal info related to your reservation on a public forum.
For sure.
That pdf doc should be removed.

The cynical part of me says that upper management doesn’t see any immediate revenue being generated in lounge spaces.

I believe that it is technically illegal to import sand. That being said, my wife has been collecting a small baggie of sand from everywhere she’s been for almost 40 years.

We received the Royal Up offers yesterday. We bid just above minimum on the Grand Suite and the Two Bedroom Grand Suite.
Based on how many people will most likely be bidding on limited quantity/nonexistent cabins, I will be absolutely floored if either bid is accepted. It’s fun to dream though.
We’re very content with the aft regular balcony cabin we originally booked and quite honestly, we’d thoroughly enjoy the cruise even if we were in an Interior cabin.

I’d have no concerns cruising on a nuke.

I’ve found hotels with cruise parking through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Some include transportation and some don’t.
We currently have two reservations with cruise parking. One at the Springhill Suites Newark Airport that does not include port transportation, and one at the Courtyard Newark Elizabeth that does include port transportation.

Matching status is a simple thing to do at the Loyalty Ambassador’s desk onboard a ship.

I always call them, I never use their website. In my own experience, they can pull a lot more fares and options on the phone compared to their website.
This has been our experience too. Most recently, we changed the airport we’re flying into from Bologna to Venice and changed our arrival from one day early to three days early with no problem. Back in 2021 we changed our flights to/from Nassau easily.
To be fair, I’m using words like our and we, but my wife makes the actual phone calls. I’m not a phone person

Like others, we’ve used Air2Sea when flying internationally. Real or imagined, we feel a sense of security doing so.
Air2Sea was by far the cheapest for our upcoming flights to/from Italy. They’ve also been on top of any changes that have been made by the airlines since we booked, too. Lufthansa changed our return flight and Air2Sea was able to get us on a different flight that gets us home when we need to be.

We’re team older vehicles.
We have three…one 2005 and two 2008s….the mileage on them ranges from 144k to 242k. I’d drive any of them across the country with no hesitation
I’m fortunate enough to be able to do any and all vehicle maintenance needed. It’s been my side hustle for almost 25 years.

A video tour of an interior cabin from any Voyager class should show the storage space and options.

There was one time when my wife and I were in the hot tub in the Solarium and two really good looking 20-30 something girls got in and moved really close to us and asked if they could hang out. I was a bit perplexed but then they explained that there were some guys hitting on them and they felt that if they were next to me with my H-D tattoos then the guys would leave them alone...They were very sweet and well mannered girls.
This has happened to my wife and I a few times over the years in various places. It caught me off guard the first time, but my wife knew immediately what was going on.
Part of me is bummed that we are at the age where look more like parents to the younger people than peers.

We took a taxi from our hotel on Galveston Island. I can’t remember the cost, but it was low enough that my wife commented how much cheaper it was than she expected.

For my wife and I, it’s all relative. If we can afford to cruise on Royal Caribbean, we will. If we can’t, then we’ll find something else to do. We are already booked on a couple non-Royal cruises to see how we like them.
We couldn’t afford to buy our home at its current value. We could have in 2019.

This is one of those questions that honestly has no wrong answer.
With rare exception, we tip our cabin steward, Main Dining Room waiter and assistant waiter, and for each drink we get with a voucher.
The amount we tip is more than some and less than others. It’s an amount we’re comfortable spending.

America’s cup sailing in St Maarten excursion
in Shore Excursions
Posted
My wife and I did this in January 2020. We still talk about how much fun we had. When we go back to St Maarten, we will do it again.
We were on the Stars and Stripes as well and won the "race".
You can be as involved as you want. My wife was nervous about being in a smaller boat, so our captain made her the team captain and told her what commands to give while she sat down. I, on the other hand, had to do actual work
