Barb got her Moderna COVID-19 vaccine shot yesterday...She's a RN at our local hospital.  She was not scheduled to receive it yet but she was assisting in giving it to other Doctors and Nurses.   A couple of people scheduled failed to show up.  After the Moderna is removed from the cold storage, it must be used in a few hours or it goes to waste...So she got it a little early.  No side effects so far.

Nope.  Same discount.   To save more money I use a day 2 strategy.
The following is only for D+ members.
If you can use your cell phone on day one since the ship is in port until 5pm to 6pm typically and you buy the internet on the morning of day 2 it is "free" on a 3 night cruise or ~$20 for a 4 night cruise (for D+ members).  Buying a full voyage Voom plan on day one costs more since it's prorated and gets cheaper as the cruise progresses.
I built a spreadsheet that compares cruise planner purchases versus on board.  
Here is a comparison if the cruise planner price for Surf and Stream is $11.99 per day and the onboard daily rate for Surf and Stream is $21.99, a typical rate prior to the shutdown.
 
If you can wait until day 2 to buy Voom, then for a D+ it's cheapest to buy on board using the D+ discount for cruises 6 nights or shorter.
If you must have Voom on day 1 then for a 3 or 4 night cruise it's cheapest to buy it on board.
For cruises longer than 6 nights it's always cheapest to buy it ahead of time.  
That is all assuming a cruise planner advance price of $11.99 per day.

The cruise planner doesn't always have it for $11.99 so the math changes as the cruise planner planner prices goes up.
For example, when it's $14.99 in the cruise planner:
 
At $14.99 in the cruise planner it's best to buy it on board on day 2 for anything 9 nights or shorter but if you must have Voom on day 1 then it's cheapest to buy it on board for anything 6 nights or shorter.  Once you reach 10 nights it's always cheapest to buy it in advance in the cruise planner.  But again this is assuming the cruise planner price is $14.99 per day.      
In some cases it's only a few dollars but a few dollars is always better in my pocket.

Sorry to say but the strangest thing we've seen is one of them things we will never be able to forget.
On the Oasis of the Seas in the Solarium pool.  An intoxicated elderly gentlemen was...Less just say...He was enjoying the water pressure jets on the center fountain way to much and didn't care what the other guests thought.   A pool attendant was called and arrived just as the gentleman was...Done.  Pool was closed, drained and cleaned.

We are booked on the same cruise and plan on waiting as long as possible even if it ends up costing a bit more money.  On top of that I've found the best pricing at the 80-90 day out mark so we have a little time.  Good Luck

Like you I always declare and hope they let it slide when I'm over.  Canada is brutal.  If over by 1ml they charge duty.
The US CBP has always been very forgiving when I've gone over since I was open and honest and declared everything.  Before 9/11 I flew with dozens of wine bottles in carry on.  I declared them all.  CBP asked which was the most expensive bottle and after my response said "Have a nice day".  I have zero problems with CBP but always declare everything.  They can read faces and they know who is lying.

They just hung up on me after waiting for multiple hours on hold after answering, confirming my reservation number and then just hung up  
 
Royal Caribbean will have to deal with my credit card company. Not dealing with this again. Poor customer service.

We are supposed to cruise March 30, we have the same situation.  3 of our group are being told they will have to self quarantine if they go.  Sadly we are being forced to cancel and take FCC.  This was going to be a first cruise for most of our group.  ? 

I'm sorry.  I am not familiar at all with CostCo or how their policies work.  I originally thought that the FCC would have to be applied through the agency but I have read subsequent posts that now lead me to believe that the FCCs do NOT have to go through the agency.  I do not know for sure which is true.  I have always just had my TA do all of the footwork with applying FCC but I do not know if you MUST use the original TA or not.

Well yesterday was interesting for us.  Unfortunately for us, its not the CDC recommendations stopping us from our 5 Apr cruise...Its Work!!!  We are cruising with our son and family.  Yesterday our sons boss informed him he would be required to self quarantine for 14 days after he returns.  Barb who is an RN found out yesterday also that she will have to self quarantine for 14 days after we get home.  I work for Uncle Sam and so far have no requirement to self quarantine...YET.   
So since Royal has offed the 48 hour cancellation rule...We are going to chill and see what develops.   Then decide if we want to cancel or spend the extra leave.

The biggest problem is there seems to be no consistence on what is allowed and what is not allowed.  Anything with a 110v port may be confiscated by the ports contract security during check-in one cruise and not the next cruise.  If its in our luggage it may or may not require a trips to the naughty room...Just depends on who is doing the scanning.  Since just about all of our electronics are USB rechargeable, we only us this USB charger hub and have never had a problem.
